To be fair it's mostly hank pyms tech that is overpowered. Scott isn't a scientist so he probably wouldn't be able to study what little information was available on the hulk at the time and realize that making his heart giant could kill him

Or to put it in simpler terms, Pym particles can make ANYTHING bigger or smaller, and most things work by having their insides smaller than their outsides.
No this entire episode feels like a Marvel Rip Off, of Batman Mask of the Phantasm. The BEST BATMAN MOVIE OF ALL TIME! But hey at least we get the comic/Marvel accurate Yellowjacket, instead of some nobody who was introduced in the movies just to take on the role as Yellowjacket instead of Hank Pym, who actually originated in comic books.
As far as Thor smelling of lavender, even in death, it's worth pointing out that according to multiple mythologies, angels (and their analogues) smell of flowers, regardless of situation.
When Hank kills Thor, do you think it was a favor to Kang in exchange for the future tech he used to kill the Hulk? Because when asked why he killed Thor, he responded it was a favor and Loki seemed to not know about this when he questioned him. Also, who can have knowledge of tech that can kill the Hulk.
I feel like not enough people are talking about Hawkeye’s death here. He was in denial of committed a murder he knows he didn’t do and he had a family, just to die pointlessly. Hell, all of the deaths were super unfair. Hell, none of them deserved it. Especially at where they were in at each of their lives.
I never knew a murder mystery is what the MCU needed, but now it’s all I want! This was such a great proof of concept, now I want a full length movie where the Heroes have to find the killer before it takes them all out!
Only thing that didn’t make sense was the Thor and the casket at the end. He wasn’t a planned avenger and shouldn’t have his body returned to Asgard to be buried there

Either SHIELD was able to figure out who Thor was showed up and designed a casket in the exact same style as those of the other Avengers BEFORE Loki showed up, or SHIELD’s graphic design team was working really hard during the 24 hours that Loki was conquering the planet.
Yeah, they could, but I’ve got a feeling SHIELD had other things going on when Loki was conquering the Earth than telling their graphic design team to make a specific casket logo for Thor. Like, ya know, the fact that Loki was conquering Earth.
I can't believe this is only the second time that Betty Ross has ever appeared in the MCU. Between that, bringing back Thunderbolt Ross, and the return of Abomination, it feels like TIH was being kind of phased out of the series but is now being brought back to the fold.

Another part of that "Maybe Middle Earth" line: Tolkien got "Middle Earth" from Norse mythology. Midgard translates as "Middle Yard" or "Middle Enclosure" because it was in the center of the Nine Worlds and surrounded by a wall that protected it from things like the giants. Asgard was built the same way, the yard of the Aesir gods. So Tolkien named Middle Earth after the world of men in Norse cosmology because he built a lot of his fantasy off Norse and Germanic lore. Coulson's line is funny as a reference to the Asgardian armor, but it's actually the opposite of how the Asgardians would think of things!
I never thought of the similarities between Tolkien’s description of how Minas Tirith was laid out and the Eddas description of how Asgard is laid out before. Good call.
I loved how the one soldier that got knocked out in the back of the truck by Nat, clearly looked like he was smiling and dreaming happy things as he laid there on the ground.

Fury : "we don't do that here" when asked to kneel by Loki.. was a cool call out to T'chala's " we don't do that here" to Banner in infinity war when Banner tried to kneel in Wakanda
Just think, if SHIELD was smart enough to actually remove people's security clearance after they died, then Hank wouldn't have been able to use his daughter's codes to see the files and all this would have been avoided.
Wow, this episode was amazing. At first I thought it was Loki behind everything using his magic to kill everyone but as soon as Betty Ross mentioned nanoscience I knew it was Yellowjacket, only I thought it was the Darren Cross version working for Hydra or something. Scary how far this Hank fell, all the ingredients were apparently there, they just needed the final push.
Kinda felt weird now that hulk is basically immortal in the comics being turned into a chard body, heart bitten, and being cut up into piece in jars and coming back
The box-line is followed up by the Hulk going into a wrath-frenzy. Just as Brad Pitt committed the wrath sin in Se7en after the line “What’s in the box?!” was said. I don’t know, I thought it was nice thou

The true movie would've been 30 minutes longer, a proper origin story at the beginning not just opening credits clips, and been released uncut that wouldn't have angered Edward Norton and we would've gotten a far superior look and actor to play the role who would've never agreed to the bad jokes of thor 3: DLC side-quest.

Haven't read the books in years. When and why did Hulk get an infallible "healing factor"? Some editor decided there was too much dramatic tension otherwise?
@@brianthomas2434 It was introduced decades ago (maybe Peter David's classic run? I'm not sure, though). Like part of why he's so indestructible is because he's instantly healing whatever damage you do to him. But it isn't shown all that much because he's so hard to damage to begin with. Unlike someone like Wolverine who (unbreakable bones aside) sustains damage like a normal human.

My reaction to that was, "fool me once." I started David's run on Hulk from a digital collection, which Marvel has yet to complete. Several years in, I don't recall a healing factor. But obviously, there are things "healing factor " won't help you with. If Wolverine gets his head cut off, his brain will die in a few minutes, no? Hulk explodes and it all comes back together? People are only critical of Superman being too powerful. Magneto is MUCH more powerful these days than originally. If he faced the original X Men with today's level of power, he wouldn't need a Brotherhood. They'd just get in the way. The battle would be over in two pages and he'd stroll to the mansion to kill Xavier. Which, of course, is why they didn't make him that powerful. Somehow a Hulk who is impossible to kill, not difficult, impossible, is more interesting to today's fans. Got it!
I felt the same anxiety during this episode that I felt when I watched Infinity War. This is an alternate timeline where they don't need to follow regulations to keep an entire cinematic universe continuing. They can literally do whatever they want and kill of whomever they want.

Kinda wish we could see more of this timeline, as Loki could be a good ruler all things considered. He ruled asgard well in ragnarok, and considering he worked with nick fury, he could be a bit wiser, more willing to listen to say heimdall, who saw hela coming before hand, meaning he could prepare for that and thanos, maybe even building a team to specifically deal with him.
He literally messed up during his time as King in Ragnarok. Spends his time fooling around and replaces the security. Which was the reason why Hella could return so easily while everyone were so ill prepared for war. He was never meant to rule well.
A "things you missed" episode that only had good details would be under 2 minutes, which doesn't make TH-camrs as much money and frankly, I almost never watch videos under five minutes.
11:11 I think the reason Hulk exploded into green smoke is because of Hank Pym throwing the disk at is heart wich brought the atoms in his blood further and further away from eachother making his blood a gas,
This episode was by far my favorite. It’s just so cool seeing the phase one movies over again but now knowing that so much other stuff was going on at the same time
Truly this was the most brutal thing I’ve seen happen in the MCU and in animation , since they can do whatever they want really , but that Exploding Hulk scene was just UNREAL, popped like a huge green zit , like WHOA 😳😱😱😱😨
My only regret about this episode is that Loki at the end didn't have a "Vote for Loki" pin on his outfit. Don't know why I expected it, but for some reason it would have made me really happy!

This is cool, but in the trailer you see a zombie ironman in the infinity war suit. And bucky has the wankandan arm which he wouldn’t have at this point. Hopefully the next episode is the marvel zombies one though

What I see happening to the Hulk was his Heart enlarges and, everything inside it grows too, including all those blood cells which then pump to the rest of the body.
Missed detail. The fact that Hope Van Dyne is involved with SHIELD, and Potentially the Avengers initiative, means that the moment of change in this universe could have been Joss Wheden receiving the okay to put Wasp in the Avengers lineup.
I think they are! In the Avengers trailer, there's this wraparound Avengers-like shot and it seemed to be a group of characters from these stories. We'll see how it shapes up though!
The dialogue when the shield (Hydra agent) exclaims when he finds Natasha escaped is same energy as the one falcon exclaimed when Steve Rogers overtook Him while running in winter soldier (on your left)
If Steve went down with the plane as per usual, can it also be assumed that Hydra has infiltrated Shield? Pierce, Rumlow, they could be Hydra in this timeline.
When Nick Fury tells Tony he isnt the centre of his universe, he literally means that because in the main MCU timeline, Tony kick-started all phases and his iconic words were the first and last ones to be heard..

Just think, if SHIELD was smart enough to actually remove people's security clearance after they died, then Hank wouldn't have been able to use his daughter's codes to see the files and all this would have been avoided.

Wow, this episode was amazing. At first I thought it was Loki behind everything using his magic to kill everyone but as soon as Betty Ross mentioned nanoscience I knew it was Yellowjacket, only I thought it was the Darren Cross version working for Hydra or something. Scary how far this Hank fell, all the ingredients were apparently there, they just needed the final push.
All it takes is one bad day...
And people say that the Incredible Hulk isn’t canon

The true movie would've been 30 minutes longer, a proper origin story at the beginning not just opening credits clips, and been released uncut that wouldn't have angered Edward Norton and we would've gotten a far superior look and actor to play the role who would've never agreed to the bad jokes of thor 3: DLC side-quest.

Haven't read the books in years. When and why did Hulk get an infallible "healing factor"? Some editor decided there was too much dramatic tension otherwise?
@@brianthomas2434 It was introduced decades ago (maybe Peter David's classic run? I'm not sure, though). Like part of why he's so indestructible is because he's instantly healing whatever damage you do to him. But it isn't shown all that much because he's so hard to damage to begin with. Unlike someone like Wolverine who (unbreakable bones aside) sustains damage like a normal human.

My reaction to that was, "fool me once." I started David's run on Hulk from a digital collection, which Marvel has yet to complete. Several years in, I don't recall a healing factor. But obviously, there are things "healing factor " won't help you with. If Wolverine gets his head cut off, his brain will die in a few minutes, no? Hulk explodes and it all comes back together? People are only critical of Superman being too powerful. Magneto is MUCH more powerful these days than originally. If he faced the original X Men with today's level of power, he wouldn't need a Brotherhood. They'd just get in the way. The battle would be over in two pages and he'd stroll to the mansion to kill Xavier. Which, of course, is why they didn't make him that powerful. Somehow a Hulk who is impossible to kill, not difficult, impossible, is more interesting to today's fans. Got it!
I felt the same anxiety during this episode that I felt when I watched Infinity War. This is an alternate timeline where they don't need to follow regulations to keep an entire cinematic universe continuing. They can literally do whatever they want and kill of whomever they want.
I love how no one has plot armor in what if but obviously because this isn't main timeline canon the events don't have as much weight
@@badtemtime999 Yeah that is true, most of our love for these characters derives from their Sacred Timeline counterparts but it still hurts seeing things like this happen

Yeah! A mix of hope dying and being in the suit too long seems like it would take a big toll on his mental... so it makes lots of sense!

Hank pym being the yellow jacket was the most bad ass thing in this episode
Kinda wish we could see more of this timeline, as Loki could be a good ruler all things considered. He ruled asgard well in ragnarok, and considering he worked with nick fury, he could be a bit wiser, more willing to listen to say heimdall, who saw hela coming before hand, meaning he could prepare for that and thanos, maybe even building a team to specifically deal with him.
He literally messed up during his time as King in Ragnarok. Spends his time fooling around and replaces the security. Which was the reason why Hella could return so easily while everyone were so ill prepared for war. He was never meant to rule well.

I think the reason Hulk exploded into green smoke is because of Hank Pym throwing the disk at is heart wich brought the atoms in his blood further and further away from eachother making his blood a gas,
This episode was by far my favorite. It’s just so cool seeing the phase one movies over again but now knowing that so much other stuff was going on at the same time
Truly this was the most brutal thing I’ve seen happen in the MCU and in animation , since they can do whatever they want really , but that Exploding Hulk scene was just UNREAL, popped like a huge green zit , like WHOA 😳😱😱😱😨

What I see happening to the Hulk was his Heart enlarges and, everything inside it grows too, including all those blood cells which then pump to the rest of the body.

Missed detail. The fact that Hope Van Dyne is involved with SHIELD, and Potentially the Avengers initiative, means that the moment of change in this universe could have been Joss Wheden receiving the okay to put Wasp in the Avengers lineup.

I think they are! In the Avengers trailer, there's this wraparound Avengers-like shot and it seemed to be a group of characters from these stories. We'll see how it shapes up though!
