A trick for locating homesites in the woods is simple- look for flower beds amidst the trees. That, and old dilapidated car parts. Love you videos, brother.
Whoa the number of exposed old bottles in that area is crazy 😃 Congrats on finding such a rare bottle Brandon. That thin necked wine bottle is a super cool find 👍☺
Hello, my name is John , I live in Oregon. I'm getting older and just not up to digging the dumps all day like I used to when I was older. Funny thing I was digging pop bottles before the internet was a thing. I love your videos and I especially love to hear the pricing comments. They let me know how those old bottles have appreciated over the years. I was digging the newer type though not the turn of the century stuff like you guys find. I love to see what you guys are finding in the old dumps. I switched hobbies years ago went from bottles to knives but I still love to see it all. Keep up the great work.
That turn of the century "wine" bottle is much older than you think. I think its 1860s or 70s I posted this before I saw you talking about it. Yes, early!
Well done on the rare bottles you two. Glad that you were able to get a new computer Brandon. Would hate to see you not being able to post videos. Thanks for the tag along. Love your scouting trips and the tips and trick AND warnings you give us, as you go along. Take care and I'll wait for the next video.
Thank you for the adventure , some information on finding places and seeing some nice finds ! Take care , stay safe and healthy there in Alabama ! Doing okay here in Kansas .
Had a rough go out yesterday in Town. Went along the shore near Kalhi to Ala Moana Park, which is now-closed again, signs promise jail & $5,000 fine for trespassers. Looked around a lot, never even unlimbered pick & shovel. Need to go Pearl City side tomorrow. I'll wear tabis & wade in Pearl Harbor? I was just on the shore of West Loch in 2014, and spent a week in hospital. Lehua ave. is a WWII "Ghetto", still was OK fun later 2000s.
Those are some nice meds. I wish we had bottles here in IL that are as valuable as what you have down south. I finally found a good dump in my town and everything from complete crock lids to local bottles I have never seen or heard of before. Good luck and thanks for the great content.
Cool video. It was good to see Clayton out with you haven’t seen him for awhile. I suppose when it rains again you can go back to that other creek. Alrighty guy see you next week!
So, what kind of land was this? public? private? One thing that stops me from bottle hunting myself is that I hear about looking in creeks' and on the sides of creeks, etc, but how do you know if it's private land? Around my county, there doesn't seem to be any land that isn't private or parkland. Is there another kind of land I'm not thinking of? Thanks!
When you find out more about the thin neck bottle will you pass the information on to us. Have you ever done a show and tell with your really good fines, if you have I would like to know
How did you find that place with all the bottles? Is it private property? I went adventuring to old creeks to walk and after 2 hours of driving I found that they were all on private property which was disappointing... I want to try and find a creek to walk with bottles and I’ve done research about dated creeks and waterways. Maybe I just need to do more research?
Sadly its just as much about scouting as research. My last video I talk about trespassing laws with creeks and them being right of ways. You may want to watch it.
In 2003 I spent too much, $315 for a 1901 ten Dollar coin, just sat on it and it climbs. Have dug two prewar wedding bands and fountain pen parts-thats what you can do in Waryime ghettos that abound on Oahu.
Just found and subbed your channel. Do you happen to have a video of your bottle collection? I mostly do metal detecting but would like to expand to bottles. Thanks in advance. Greg in Michigan Member SWMSS club South west Michigan seek and search .
Welcome to the channel Greg! In some of the videos I show some of my stuff but I don't have a dedicated video just showing my collection. Maybe one day I will do one.
Been following y'all for longer than I can remember.. The only thing that is concerning me is no gloves...🥺 Hopefully you all are up to par with your Tetanus shot.. Some of the places you guys are reaching into are pretty nasty. Be Blessed and stay safe.🕊️🤓
Started watching the intro...thought my phone somehow switched to some weird political ad.....but then, as I kept reading....I thought "Cool" ! "Brandon musta had a neat idea" !

Those "tree warts" added called 'burls.' You should harvest them if they are sizeable. People live to turn them into bowls.
Not a bad idea!
Snarky User they do make beautiful bowls
@@joanhamilton2651 yes there worth a bunch of money people pay a lot of money for them
Check out "burls" on Ebay . . . People pay good money for nice burls.
A $250. Bottle not a bad day at all Brandon. The neck on that one bottle is crazy thin. Some nice finds. HH and be well
Enjoyed watching. Thanks for sharing your hunt, exploration and finds. Wishing you all the best, good luck, happy hunting and take care.
my grandpa always called them Glass flies the fly skin that you picked up at 11:01

Nice haul, Brandon! Does that 1870s wine have a seam or was it made in a turn mold?
No seam.
I just knew when you found that privy and started whispering that you were afraid Scott might be around😁😂 awesome bottles.

You'll know you are in trouble when you get to a bridge and a hillbilly is on it playing dueling banjos , Clayton does favor Burt Reynolds . Enjoyed .
Thanks Dennis!

As of today at 2 PM PDT, Kitco shows gold at $1975.90/ Troy oz. (For those who don't know- Troy oz. is used for precious metals. 14 oz= 1 lb.)
Crazy high!

Ok. I have to ask. What is a privy that you keep speaking of?
Privy is an outhouse.
I’ve never heard them called that before. My grandparents had one on the levy behind the barn.
Alligators?
What was that migraine you got a couple of videos back called
Complex migraine..... theyre rough!

With all the bottles on the videos I have watched ( I have a lot of videos to catch up on ) I think you need a relic room 👍😁
Do you have some bottles to sale that are not really worth alot
I've quite a few on my Ebay that are reasonable. Shipping isn't cheap mind you.
@@adventurearchaeology
I found them I'm going to buy some Friday. Thanks
How do you know how many bottles are known to exist?
By how many local collectors have.
