Roman went from trash on the mic to becoming one of greatest heels of our generation all while battling cancer in real life and during a world wide pandemic. To me he’s going down as one of the GOATs brought me back to loving pro wrestling something I haven’t done since the attitude era.

Its so underrated that Roman and Brock were the ones cutting these promos when they were both infamously bad at promos. They both came a long way.
I don’t like how far Roman Reigns has come up until this point of his career right now…I absolutely LOVE THE LIVING HELL out of it. Ever since he first began his rise to the top of WWE in mid-2014, Roman was easily regarded by millions worldwide as the absolute worst Superstar on the mic ever seen in the company today, myself included. And even if he’s IMPROVED his mic skills over the next 6 years, he STILL has never gotten the same amount of respect and admiration from the fans that any Superstar in WWE’s rich history who rose up and became it’s top babyface has ever gotten (Examples: Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and John Cena).
But ever since he began his long-awaited first run as a heel in mid-2020, Roman’s become of the most influential human-beings in today’s WWE…well, at least in my opinion. AND he’s one of the most savage Superstars on the mic that I’ve ever seen in this company since Triple H, of all ppl. I mean seriously, there’s absolutely NO WAY that this ISN’T an incredibly powerful story which best describes a man from a really legendary pro wrestling family, who went from being WWE’s “Big Dog” all the way to becoming their “Tribal Chief.” At all.
Four years ago if you saw a playlist about “Roman Reigns destroying people on the mic” you’d genuinely be in hysterics. But hey… he probably had to be the big dog to become the tribal chief. 👊
