A little bit of self shilling here, but these two products work, and work in many use cases! The case of the SACT helping with Channa's brothers set up, is a good example where if you buy the SACT maybe you could help a friend of relative with getting their system dialed in as best as possible for what they have. Also with Magic Beans a stereo set up of Magnepan speakers, can be helped with Magic Beans tests and recommendations for the curve you would need for the room where they are placed! Thanks for watching, and all the support!

I'm happy magic beans works correctly with Magnepans. I haven't been able to use room correction up until I got the Yamaha A4A on my Magnepans, ( I've had them for like 15 to 20 years ) before that they would mess up so much I would just disable R.C. I've only had to do a little tweaking with the Yamaha. I wonder how much better magic beans will take me.

Old Polk towers is a good place to start. Polk used to excel at creating speakers that had good bass…near or below 20 Hz (Monitor series, RTA series, SDA series, etc.) and for a reasonable price. I have the original SDA SRS…bass down to 10 Hz. I’ve had them since 1985. I also have the latest SDA version…Legend L800. The bass is good, but not as powerful as the SDA SRS. It seems most speaker manufacturers today skimp on bass in their speakers, even towers, because they rely on the subwoofer to take care of it. I have been doing this since 1979 and it appears the subwoofer killed bass in loudspeakers. You need to spend ~$10,000 plus to get stereo speakers that get anywhere near 20 Hz these days.
