Their songwriting is so clever, in just 1 song there’s fast-slow, power-softness, never boring like almost all other music these days

It's very very clever songwriting, having so many different rhythms and styles in each song means almost everyone will like something from every song. I think that's why almost all of their songs are good.
There are a lot of bands out there with some talent. But, there are not many with the across the board talent like Band-Maid. Add to that the ability to actually write great songs and you have one of the best bands in the world. You can check out any song from them and not go wrong, but, it is really time to check out "Puzzle" Live. One of their most complex songs with some great musical work from the entire band.
Also lyric wize. If you checked thosecout, whew! Puzzle is pretty dark i.m.o. But, a great song, a great closure to that whatcwent horribly wrong in life.
If you are doing Puzzle live you must do Puzzle acoustic with it. The same but different.

This is a hidden gem and one of my favorites. The solo comes in and breaks your jaw.
It is the total package. It is an incredibly rare thing.
Budokan in February 2021 is the goal to see them live in Japan.

Just remember this is a B-side on the single Yolo!!! Even their fillers are killer... If you want a treat listen to Unfair Game which is the other track on the single. You won't find a decent one on TH-cam but It's on Spotify, and it rocks hard!!😁

I think wagakki band was at their best around 2017-2018. I love gobousei, chie no kajitsu, synchronicity, yoshiwara lament etc. All came out around that time. I don't like their recent stuff though.

I finally was able to watch my copy of the Shibuya Show today. 20 songs of maximum awesomeness! It just re enforced my need to see these ladies live!
Band-Maid has no weaknesses: Killer compositions, lyrics, and arrangements stunningly and creatively performed by musicians and vocalists unafraid of playing at the next level. Guitars, bass, drums, vocals are all turned past eleven on the amplifier and pegged. Forget the maid costumes, the Maids ROCK! I've never seen them "Phone It In"; they always put in a 111% effort.

Gimme chocolate was one of the most humiliating songs to hear grown adults listening to. But otherwise I agree with you.
This has become my favorite band. Also, each player has become my favorite at their instrument. Not a weak spot anywhere
These ladies never cease to amaze me. Been listening and watching them for the past three years and everything about them is literally perfect! If it's still happening after all this mess is over with, they're going to Budokan on February 11th, which has been a long time dream of theirs. Maybe think about going there? 🤔

Its wonderful how they have developed over the months and they are now untouchable in terms of writing and performance. Untouchable. Part of their legendary skills is how Saiki has
developed her singing and presentation skills. For a Japanese she is blessed with a relatively low key voice but her control and projection is superb and the always active right hand is the icing on the cake. All round faultless - just plain magic.
Lol, Kanami just loves smashing a crazy bit of guitar shred in your face just to switch gears to a calm clean part right after :) That is in so many Band Maid songs it's not even funny :P

Freezer...it's definitely a sleeper. Of all their already great songs, Freezer caught my attention too.
I just bought the 4 song cd that this song is off of, for $30... just for this one song! Sadly I bet just like every other Band-Maid song, it is much better in their live performances than their album productions. In a band of excellence Band Maid have a huge advantage over most others - Kanami and her composing and arranging skills. To call her a guitarist is liking calling Mozart a pianist.

Allow me another suggestion, one I don't see much people asking for it and it's one of my fav ones from the last album Conqueror: "Flying High" - I was so sure they were going to have it in their set list on that last live BluRay because it's so so freaking good... but it's not. But "Flying High" is a tremendous song with a tremendous riff with a tremendous Saiki... a mid-tempo, Lenny Kravitz-ish (but heavier) kind of song, it's mindblowing.
I've seen "YOLO" being mentioned... that too... and the first "label-approved" song composition: "Alone" ... man, I'm sounding just like you "this is my favorite, no no no, THIS is my favorite... what about thisone?" ... my fav song of Band-Maid are all of them!! :-D
Flying High is in my personal BAND MAID top five songs list. Definitely the best song in Conqueror album.

Man, I can't understand why that song doesn't have a "proper" spotlight... a MV or something... it's such a monster... the chorus, the riff, Saiki's scream, so many good things to melt from... cheers! This song is awesome. I really like that grunge-like riffs and synthethizers in the middle. This is a good example of their versatility, they're not attached to one particular way to do music (check out their album CONQUEROR)
I think this song had a lot of collaboration from MISA, she's a very alternative rock girl. In an interview she said her favorite bands are Smashing Pumpkins or Soundgarden.
I love smashing pumpkin and soundgarden too! Misa also has red hot chilli pepper like funk chop, too.

I like BandMaid more than any other band because they always do great songs and always add some twist to the song, melody, drums, solo, voices. At a high level you know the instruments are going to be played and at a high quality, but the details are always a bit different, which gives them and their songs a "fresh" sound and is their creative genius.

You seemed to have dropped off the face of the Earth. When it comes to band-maid reactions as of the last 2 months. I know you had a run on them a few months back. And I'll be honest with you that's what brings me to your Channel. I'm just one person I know, but I think there are many that feel the same. You are enjoyable to watch and your reactions are golden. But I'm really not into any of the other groups that you do cover. Band maid is just one of those bands that it is fun to watch reactors reviewing. Keep up the good work. How powerful Miku's guitar sounds in this song.
Band Maid's B-Sides are often superior to many official hits from the West. Unfair Game is the perfect example.
Heartbreakingly compelling stuff.. I love this track, and its companion mini album track "Unfair Game".

I love how they'll go from a crescendo of some slamming guitar riff with Kanami shredding over it to the whole thing dropping out to just vocals, right when you're just about ready to jump up and mosh.

Too bad there's no live recording of "Liberal" and "Flying High."
In "Liberal" Misa has a sick bassline and Akane just straight up kicking those drums.
Same thing with "Flying High." Another solid bassline from Misa. Miku and Saiki does amazing vocal work, especially Miku with the harmonies. Akane and Kanami are solid as ever.
