As someone who's played templar since the beginning, I got to say that this build is very comfortable to play. I won't say "lazy"... we'll say play smarter not harder lol!
I have been wondering about something like this since a while. Now that one-bar builds (I love my Lazy Sorc!) have helped me to learn mechanics of most dungeons and trials, it will be fun to see if my old fingers will be able to get some more complicated builds going after all. Fantastic build, enjoying this alot! I've never even seen Jesus beam hit this hard and mine is a wood elf! I like that it's also simple to use as well.
@@Nobody-yw3zx tbf I don’t think that’s who this build is for. I think it’s for people learning how to switch bars and begin rotations again on console. While one bar builds are okay they really fell off in popularity with endgame players on console. Running two bars on Stam Sorc or MagPlar Or Stam Arc is going to yield higher dps. When the HA Magsorc came out it was good but since they changed the rules on lightening HAs it really slowed them down compared to all other classes in trials and dungeon hms. But they are still somewhat effective but gaining comfort with two bar builds means learning how to generate more dps than what is achieved with One bar builds. I use onebar builds for IA but thats about it. I have all the dungeon trifectas on console and 7 trial trifectas with multiples of them. No one is really using one bar builds like that. So the faster they can get a handle on doing bar swaps the better they can understand how to do more damage in content. I don’t think this build is going to perform like a trial ready build. Maybe normal trials for gear farms to build up to vet trials. You could probably use this in vet dungeons but might struggle with some damage checks in DLC hardmodes. I do like this build for players who are learning to switch between bars. This is a simple build that requires very little inputs from the gear as it is running all the time and the 2dots and spammable dot. The gear selection is available to all players so people who may not even get into trials yet.
I have many alts. I switched my High Elf Templar to this build. It works great. This is the only time I used a build 1 for 1. Scary damage output! I am using the Encratis monster set because that's what I had in the bank.
@@ngwtube Thanks for answer, its not 'bad' as 85k is enough for any solo content you could ever think of. You can either push 120k and be a glass cannon for trials depending on others to heal you/buff you or you can sacrifice the dmg and gain survival that you need in solo anyway.
@@pinkmachine9264 For solo 85k, I would prefer a simple oakensoul sorc build which allows you to have all you resources for shield and healing instead of skills. E.G. vateshran is quite easy with the onebar sorc.
I think Build videos should show the build in action FIRST before getting into the gear. I find myself watching an entire build video and then not liking how it plays anyway,
Can you make this build work for Arcanist? Same sets and almost similar skills (FB: Chakram of Destiny, Cephaliarch's Flail, Pragmatic Fatecarver, Camouflaged Hunter, Inner Light / BB: Chakram of Destiny, Blockade of Fire, Reconstructive Domain, Camouflaged Hunter, Inner Light) maybe?
Not with a Breton. Laking a bit of damage, but the sustain is there, and having 1 heavy attack in between just to get some magicka back isn't the end of the world...

How would Ansuul's do vs War Maiden? I know not everyone has access to trial sets but I happen to have enough to put a body set together.
