I was 10 when I got my period, do not be embarrassed about your mom. My mom helped me put on a napkin, wash my bloody clothes when i got my period, and taught me everything I was supposed to know. Your mother has gotten a period as well, she went through everything you will go through. If you don't trust her, them try talking to an older female cousin or sibling, your grandma, a teacher or a friend!
