So many verses in this chapter! What really hit me was what you said about comparrison diminishing what God has done for you. That is something I need to remember.
V1. 2 years and 2 months sober! V3 it is honorable to avoid strife. We think very little of the term honorable anymore. V5 sometimes it is helpful to seek counseling? Life purpose. V7 you are a blessing to your children by leading a righteous life (justifiable) V13 WORK HARD V18 plans are established by seeking advice. Prov 16:3 and 15:22 22 wait for the Lord and he will avenge you. Wow. How powerful. What can we even do to match this? 10&23 dishonestly in business? 24 sometimes looking back I understand and am wowed of how God did something in my life- and example is how he used Covid to help me to get sober. This is why you need to follow the Holy Spirits nudging. He is leading you! And cultivate this. Don’t ignore if it will eventually get quiet. This power should be held up as incredible not an annoyance! 27 we are the light. The hands and feet of Jesus. Darkness cannot snuff out light.

I didn’t realize it until I discovered your channel, but I have a real issue with thoughts. I mean some of them are really BAD!!! Thanks for alerting me to this issue which I am determined to fix!
Well said about your thought life. I truly want to change that too. I think to much about the what “ifs” , or just think way too much. I want to be more Conscience and be in the moment not in my thoughts... So praying that the Holy Spirit will guide our thoughts! Thanks like always for your dedication and time.. Have a good day 🙂
3 Scriptures that Can shape us, Isaiah 26:3, “Thou (God)wilt keep him in Perfect Peace whose mind is stayed on thee, because he Trusteth in Thee”! Staying Focused on God Gives Peace, and Galatians 5:23-23, “But The Fruit Of The Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperence, against such there is no law”! It has been Gifted From God to each of us, but it is up to us to Activate and Become Each One, Making it Become Our Reality, By Living it out! Because we are made in God’s Image, we can say to ourselves, 1st. John 4:4b, “Greater is He (God) that is in you, than he that is in the world”! Whatever I Share I too am speaking to Myself, Iron Sharpens Iron! Many Blessings Sister!🙏🏽

Proverbs 20:30 (KJV) 30 The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so do stripes the inward parts of the belly. This happened to all Jesus’ apostles. It also happened to Jōb, and to Our Lord Jesus. It will cleanse our inner thoughts.

I struggle with holding grudges....but...I have been getting a better control on it...I finally realized it's only hurting me....thank you for this
