A “totally awesome” boat perfect for living aboard. The cabins are not claustrophobic, massive deck space and a huge fridge. Look no further. Thanks for showing it
I'M BLOWN AWAY,...THIS IS THE BOAT FOR ME,...NO QUESTION ABOUT IT,...THANK YOU SO MUCH LADY.YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE INDEED,....THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHOWING,......
Max range with alternating engines at 6.8 kts means you can go out with a group of friends on sailing Cats and stay with the pack quite easily on some longer crossings and for some shorter ones you could definitely leave them in your wake if you so choose at the cost of fuel usage. Beautiful boat and as someone who's older and not as fit as I used to be this would be the best of both worlds for me and my family. The Cat lifestyle with far, far less work involved and the ability to go where I want, when I want, in whatever time frame I set within reason. Yes I'd be sacrificing lower fuel costs but for me it would be worth it as it would make it possible for me to get out there. Great tour and thank you for the fun way in which you show us these floating works of art...
Powercats are already a strong favorite, and this cat for me is one of the most practical in its price range. Could definitely function as a liveaboard with a few alterations! Thanks for another great tour, enjoy your weekend!
Must confess never been a lover of catamarans but this has definately turned me around. It is so versatile, love the storage and luxury cabins with more than ample space, even a shower you could play chase in. Has more of the feelings of a larger luxury yacht, well thought out and great build for price. You have really done justice to this cruise/liveaboard. Thanks again to you detailed informative tour, one to think about. Be safe.
Looks like a perfect Nauti liveaboard upgrade, awesome galley (with a refrigerator that works), plenty of room for party lights and speakers for Rico AND a spectacular master cabin for Nauti - there's even a nice spare cabin for Rico when he gets naughty with Nauti and gets punished. As always thanks for a fabulous review. Stay safe and keep having fun.
Wow. You two are really doing a great job. I only recently became aware of your channel. Until now, I've always watched Aquaholic, who of course also does an excellent job. But the fact that the two of you present together and complement each other makes your channel so special. Keep it up and I look forward to all your future videos. And by the way, the Leopard 53 is exactly the kind of boat my wife and I are looking for ☺. Many greetings from Germany.
Very beautiful yacht. Love it. This would be perfect for us and the range in this is phenomenal. I could cruise to Jamaica in this with ease, probably do a whole Caribbean trip with few stops in between. Perfection at its finest 👌 👏
I'm not usually a fan of the cats but I have to admit this is a beautiful live aboard boat. I would feel really bad though if I actually made a crew member sleep in that hole on the starboard bow. That hardly seems like a crew cabin, better for storage. I love your guys vids, you have a good formula for covering the whole boat and I especially love getting the specs at the end. So many reviews don't include the specs and that is valuable info. Thanks for another great vid!
Well, that's another amazing boat by Leopard. What else can you say? Love the all-in main salon combo "great room" main deck. I gotta love the 3'2" draft... gets into the cozy coves and fishing spots. Good for long trips with those cushy cabins, too. Nice one, thanks for showing us around!
I am liking that cockpit, cat beams make it look superyacht size. Same for the flybridge, massive. Rico's shorts match the upholstery, well played Sir. Don't worry V, I like your stripes as well. Great walktrough guys, these cats are great value.
That may be the best value yacht I have ever seen. The size of the ensuites, for a cat, is outstanding. That shower? Are you kidding me? BTW...that happy dance was great!!! LOL!!!
Hiya, what a great look, & the cat looked good too! Nice to see the stripes back, not that the 'non-stripes' didn't work, it did. What a strange look under way with no mast or sails. Very nice layout & very high standard of fit & finish, the fake teak, the carpet et cetera. I loved those under floor lockers. Not a great range even at cruising speed but it's in style! Perfect looking engine room, no yoga needed, & even room for spare parts & consumables. You can never have enough indirect lighting & speakers, or cup holders, & seating &, &, &... So take care & stay safe captains... Steve...
@@NautiStyles hopefully one day I can try!!! It's been colder the last few days, the gas meter broke so no gas for a day until they came. Anyway a lot more pain with the cold, such is life. Lots of views! Your figures are growing well, now if a few more would subscribe & click the thumbs up. Would you go for a power only cat? I know you are in a power boat at the moment it just seems odd with no mast etc... Stay safe... Steve,,,

Ho la la ! Thats a boat I wish you guys could own one day. Its beautiful, large enough, great galley and a fantastic Victoria's approuval fridge... This one seems to be a fit for you Rico and Vic.
You guys are great, I will be tuning in for more reviews now that I have found you! I was at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show on the Gold Coast (Australia) last weekend and the Leopard catamaran was definitely a standout, after watching your video - I’m hooked. Thank you!
Great job on showing the Leopard 53, the ladder on the aft fly bridge is very interesting. The leopard 53 is in my top 5 of boats I’m considering to buy.
This is the first time I have seen a powered CAT featured, and ye was pretty impressed too. Looked a little strange powering through the water in the Intro, seemed as though sails were just missing. As a galley nerd loved all that fridge/freezer space. Yep loved your walk-through of this Cat. Take care.
Today I toured one of these at FLIBS. I'm looking for a powercat to live aboard and I was really impressed with this model. I'm 6'7" and I could stand up straight in that master shower with plenty of headroom.
IN DOOR HELM !!! thats what is great about this all you need is a steering wheel and a charter that's it for bad at sea days not sure why the smaller ones dont have this Great vid
Its becoming a really interesting sector - Prestige 48 and I believe an even bigger one due too - gain so much more space over a normal hulled boat but sacrifice the looks of course. I think if/when the time comes the introduction of a wider variety of these cats will make choosing a leisure boat much more difficult. Be very interesting to see if Absolute, Sunseeker and one can only imagine what Galeon would come up with ...enter this market
I think that the 53 Le0pard is the one you guys should get into, with great features and for not much more than the 40 which I know you both like. that is unless the build quality on the 40 is way better. enjoy your show and I think that Victori should stick with verticle stripes rather than horizontal makes her look a bit taller
I am not a huge fan of cats but this is a very nice boat. I am glad to see you kids. It seems like ages since you guys put out a video. Good to see you. You were so close to us in Florida. Too bad you couldn't have stopped by and had dinner. Peace.
Very nice. I bet the extra freezer is for caught fish with all the fishing enhancements. Surprised it didn't have a Scuba Compressor with the tank mounts in the back. Love the owners cabin. 2000NM on one engine with the fuel onboard. Wow.
Love catamarans and this looks to be perfectly sized where the guest cabin beds aren't tucked into the peaks of the hulls leaving only one way to scoot out of bed. Also love that you don't have to lift up somebody's bed to get to the engines like on some other powercats (and I think all sail cats). Only problem with catamarans is getting dock space since it is hard to find slips over 20 feet wide and side ties are harder to find. Excellent full tour.
There are only two channels I’ll watch for boat tours as you and the other one are hands down the best! You do better tours than any yacht brokers I’ve watched and they should start hiring you and the other guy to sell their boats. You guys have America covered, he can do Europe! 😆
I like the separate dinghy platform, accessible from the cockpit deck. I like that it most likely drops down into the water, and as mentioned, a great swim platform. I don't like the separate forward peak head and cabin. If that is offered, it should all be in one space together. I like the fly-bridge entertainment area. Would you actually be fishing from the fly bridge though? I like the arrangement of the fly galley, though I would like a built-in drink chest. Incredible main salon and galley. Finally, under deck storage in the galley. One of the things that is a pet peeve of mine is blinding white decks from the salon bridge. I like that the pads on the fore-deck are in line of sight. Not sure if they remove at sea or not. Love the forward door onto the fore-deck. Love the heads. I like large drawers under the beds. Huge shower, but no drying racks. 7,000 gallons of fuel!!!!
I watched the 45' power cat review first, and it was unimpressive. Like a rental houseboat for a week's visit. Then the Leopard 53 Powercat just blew it away. Do I understand correctly that this is only $100k more than the 45? Unbelievable! With this boat, you feel like you're getting what you pay for. Good work, NautiStyles!
Love this one. Would be great to be able to add some solar for auxiliary engine power to turn this into unlimited distance. If I were to buy this bad boy I'd turn one of the guest cabins into a mini-gym and would be happy as a pig in mud.
The size of medicine cabinets in the owners cabin, some pharmacists done have them that big ! I also watch Aquaholic, but he doesn't look as good, lol Great content as always
Always inspired by your videos and have been going back through them, particularly the catamarans. I love that you guys put the range of the vessel in the "specs" portion of your videos when you can! You never know when you might not know where you want to go 😉! Right? But I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that in this one you included the range specs for 1 engine vs running both, etc!!!❤ Is it just me,,, or is an extra 600 NM a HUGE deal for dropping 1 kph and just using a single engine???🤔
This is the best small PowerCat.... The extra feet compared with the 40" is just whats needed for a real ownership, I could use as a Home, so nice for the $, nice place, I would switch my appartment in a minute for this og I had the $ right now...
What about docking this wide body in a marina? Is that even possible? Definitely, only on the end caps if at all. How much more would the marina charge over a 58 motor yacht?
You missed the master head had a door between the sink and couch/sitting area. Loved this cat. Is there a design difference in the hull between sail and power? If so, can you talk about it is? Thanks. Edit: your specs at the end: the fuel capacity is 7000 gallons? That sounds like too much.
yes, there is a pocket door for the full head, but not for the toilet area. yes, power hull is a completely different hull. apologies on the typos CORRECTION ON THE FUEL: 581 US Gal / 2200 L
