Inglima Family Home Movies Part 21: Target Practice

For his entire life, dad was a gun enthusiast and amateur marksman. This series of films dating from 1952 to 1968 offer an early glimpse into his hobby. A few years ago, I asked him about some of the scenes and this was his response:
"September 19, 2020
The first video of me shooting the 22 rifle was taken in the backyard of a relative's house in New Jersey. Try that today and it would be off to jail you go. The videos taken by the [Lackawanna] River were behind the house in Jessup, PA, just a short walk from where we lived, 1952 probably. The video at the house of the gunsmith who did the Springfield rifle I was shooting by a flooded quarry were all when we lived in Fairfield, PA, 53-54. The video in the snow and the frozen pond were right behind the house your Mom used to live in [Coaldale, PA]. Shooting the revolver was in her front yard. The rifle shooting into the concrete block was just outside of Lansford 55-57. The last [video] was the desert outside of Randsburg, CA around 68.
