Letting me know what animations I can get before I build my build is fire.
I’ve been saying we should be able to have an online league. Where you can play with your myplayer against other invite my players. You can request trades and even play on the same team as another myplayer if the team will allow it or can afford it. We should be able to compete for all the awards as well. ROY,DPOY,MVP. Also feel we should have highlights and cutscenes in the rec during halftime. Also should have the ability to let the player of the half speak to his team for a boost or he can get on his team for a decrease in the teams ability. We also should have the ability to sub a player in if someone quits in the rec. Same way in COD you can join a game already in progress. 🤷🏽♂️

In order for 2k to let everyone play against each other in the league with their own player. 2k would have to get rid of The City and let the league be the city. Meaning you'll be able to drive to the stadium, and drive to the airport for away games. This would be way better but like you said it is what it is.

It would be so dope if they made an online career mode that you & your friends could join together at the beginning. Be the same position, maybe, then start off in the nba combine to see who gets ranked the highest . Go into the league & play eachother to see who can be the mvp, win the championship, etc.

lol my days with mycareer are done . I’m on pc now so I can do whatever I want . And now since we have nextgen , it’ll make things more interesting. I don’t know about you guys but I gotten tired of starting mycareer over every year, buying vc. Just to grind again… then do it all over the next year…. It’s gotten repetitive over the years. And I’ve been playing 2k since 2k8…. I’ve moved to pc 1 year ago and wished I made the transition sooner. I import better cyberfaces, courts. Clothes, etc. and not spending a dime. If y’all have not switched to pc. I insist , nows the time.

I got tired of starting over my career every single year and buying VC so going this route is way more enjoyable for me plus I’m not a young kid anymore. I’m a young adult at only 22 and I’m not on the game 24 seven so I like to just come home and chill and play.

The best way would be a story mode with all your friends. You come in as an expansion team and play seasons together. You grind badges together against the cpu. You could create the uniforms and court for your expansion team.

I just want an offline career mode so I don’t have to get the latest NBA game every year. It’s incredibly predatory to force players to have to have the newest game to enjoy playing basketball bc there’s no comp.

Ayo Rease, you mentioned cap breakers allow us to do something with the builder were could never do before. Dont forget 2k20, people would create builds slightly under the threshold they wanted, because at 99 overall they got +5 to all those attributes getting them to the level they wanted to unlock more animations. So this is just another “tweak” on something we had before. Only difference is, Cap Breakers disappear and you have to earn them again after each season. Only way you lost those attributes before was dropping down to 95overall rating.
Finally we will get mycourt back💪

@@NoM0neyCash the ability to view it is optional, but it's a small part of a bigger issue. The stories in Mycareer are too specific and forced, they ruin the idea of it being MY CAREER.
On 2k11 your performance and choices determined your career trajectory. Now we also have a predetermined story that isn't affected by our performance. If I dropped 50 as a rookie in 2k11, I would feel the impact it has on how I'm viewed. If you stop 50 in the new ones it won't mean anything because the story isn't set up for it.

Rease, they didn't make MyCareer online, because you can set MyNBA online so that you control only 1 player and you can create a player. You can also set PlayNow Online to control only 1 player.

First of all, the base game itself, Offline or my Era is enough for me to buy it for $70. More than that is a bonus for me. I just hope I can grind Legend on My Career as a Solo player. I love playing Parks with ai while listening to all dope NBA Traxx whole year bruh. Yep, im that dude.
2k have monopolised the market they don’t have to make big changes in their game, they just have to do minute adjustments and pay more for a 70£ game because its unbearable without paying to play and since there’s no competition or alternatives you have to get it

Well technically they kind of had a cat breaker thing in 21 on old gen. You just had to keep your character at a 99 or above what threshold you needed to get that attribute upgrade

So in nba 2k24 I actually used the steph curry replica build. I made no changes to it and it was actually decent. If you knew how to play perimeter defense you would have been fine in that category
No lie when 2k had no online mode back in I believe 2014, I emailed them and told them the samething about mycareer. I called it connected mycareer. 10 years later we're still asking for it and nothing.
