I'm really really glad that you showed at least a bit of StariGrad and the winery... most vloggers don't show or even mention them, and discuss Hvar only (pronunced like "PHAR", or a smooth "FAR"... the original name was the greek "pharus", or lighthouse, as there was one in the Pakleni Islands or Devil's Islands, the litle ones that guard the entrance to Hvar Town). If you go back to Hvar, end of May and beginning of June are so great as lavender is in full bloom and the whole island smells delicious as even a small wind blows.
I'm also glad you went to and show the Cetina River in Omis with the zip lines... Croatia is really beautiful... we normally get there by mid May and stay for three or four weeks in the Makarska Riviera, a few kilometers south of Split...

Hi Graeme & Theodora. Love the Croatia series! I've just watched them all and decided to take a trip there at the beginning of Oct so thank you!. What yould you say was your favorite place there? Were going to book an AirBNB but not sure where! Looking for nice beaches, Restaurants, Instagramable places and landscapes. Hope you guys can help. :)
Its a good idea to do short stays in each place as seen in the 4 videos we made. So many beautiful places in Croatia
The weather will be cooler in Croatia in October. Not normally beach weather. Flying into Zadar is a great idea, then visiting the Plitvice Lakes as a day trip is a great idea, from Zadar you can visit the beautiful UNESCO town of Sibenik and the Krka falls and the Kornati archipelago. From her road trip further down the coast to Split stopping at Trogir and Primosten on the way. From Split I recommend visiting at least one island ie Hvar and do the 5 island day trip from Split. Continue further down the coast past the Makarska Rivera and onto Dubrovnik.
