Yeah it's weird how in RA2 it's like it's this soft puffy thing when it was actually a big artillery cannon that they aimed up and fired timed shells from. It was used to devastating effect against tanks. The grand cannon would be a better analogue in game

I think it was always funny how the AI would use spy planes to find you even though they know where you at anyway so to me it is pointless for them to use spy planes.. Anyone agree???
Spy planes still attract flak, though, and crash damage might just blow up your conyard if it's on red , even though these are marginal benefits. Psychic Reveal, Radar itself, Psychic Sensor, and Spysat are much more useless from the AI's point of view.
It's to give a pretense that the AI didn't cheat. That way the first time a person was playing he though: well the spy plane passed so the AI now knows where I am, instead of thinking the AI knows where I am and what I'm doing from the very beginning
I enjoyed watching your game because this map is very hard to play on and your victory was impressing. The only thing too bad you have never picked up the crates and I hate not seeing the map;)
Thanx Alexey. I have to admit, iv tried it like 7-8 time and die all the time, untill i had a lot of Yuris enemy. For my opinion, Yuri in extra hard ai mod is the weakest option.
@@zoom3000 i am not good at micro management,so i just can mindless spam tanks.So i cant use Magnetron+mastermind properly.I think:With me,Yuri is easy to defense but hard to attak.
imagine.. if you are playing on this map battling against 7 libyan or 7 cuban enemies.. this is perfect for soviet teams since they mostly rely on brute force plays.

I just found it out watching Ra1 videos and realized it was a feature and noticed it was the same way in Ra2 long after I had stopped playing. So at that point I reinstalled the game and realized how much easier it became, even Hard difficulty on missions and stuff like that just became so much easier. Its also the point where you start realizing how to break the timer on missions even on hard, because you learn you don't actually need to destroy all the ai's buildings. Its enough to ruin, CY, Unit buildings and funds and you've won, or do the mission requirement building or task.
Pretty much, because he's constantly forced the defensive game. And with superweapons, you have to be able to play the offensive game fast. If your trapped like this against super weapons its gg bai bai.
@@GaneicMehiro not to mention, all it takes is 2 superweapons striking your base at the same time to take it out, forcing you to spend resources building multiple conyards from the very start.
Btw these new bunkers that soviets got with Yuri s revenge are great..i remember playing before with soviets and it was so hard with just the Tesla coils... and dont know why you bother with Kirovs because you honestly dont keep an eye on them :) i think you d do better with 20 apoca tanks then 10 kirovs and destroying 1 base :)
1 base is way too easy, apoc tanks aren't needed, while kirovs on the other hand are the best siege material that the soviets have. Even if they are slow they have massive amounts of health and a hellish amount of dmg.
They are good if you send 10 Kirovs..but he doesnt..and kirovs suck if you dont back them up with tanks..they just rush em em and kill em as they come ..Apoca tanks on the other hand got the dmg ..got the anti air..if you send 10+ noone fares to airstrike you..and if you throw an Iron courtain on them when they start to die ..never iron courtain tanks at the begining....
Why you dont play online? :) i have find a internet Project "CNCNET" Thats a seperat Launcher with Lobbý. At Moment they plays 1200 - 1700 users. Its funny to play like old Times :). But nice Video

Hey its simple. Just read my video description, i upload the file u need to put into ur RA2 folder. And i always upload the maps i play. Just download it and move it to your folder.

I played this game for weeks when it came out..i wished they made a new version of the game, it was the biggest success ever.
Took this guy almost a full hour to realize he could have just rushed a swarm of Siege Choppers to win. How exhausting to watch.
If a spy or a ufo managed to steal your power in mid game it would've been game over!

Yes, all extras of building increase production speed. its a basic mechanic from RA1 up.

This actually takes hours but its fast because its on 2x ithink

Yes you can play it on 10 but I think you have to get it through origin the ea digital store. Even then it’s not all that stable.
