Not only is this the best old school cartoon, but it was really educational and the longest running cartoon by Filmation Studios (1972-1984) from CBS to syndication, Bill Cosby is a genius. I remember this from Saturday mornings on CBS. Thanks for the memories!
My father still has this, top cat, superfriends and other cartoons on 8mm cinema reels. I remember growing up having family nights and watching these. Can't wait to have kids so I can do the same with them.
One interesting thing about the show is that the kid Bill was actually supposed to be Cosby himself as a boy. But Cosby actually downplayed his younger self to more prominently showcase the rest of the gang
I LOVE this cartoon. Just like U.S. of Archie, it was educational and so were the toons from the 80's that had Moral Messages @ the end: He-Man, She-Ra, Ghostbusters and Brave Starr. God Bless Lou Schiemer and Filmation and plus, this show debut in 1972 along with The Joker's Wild, Gambit and The NEW Price is Right w/Bob Barker and the late Dennis James as well as The NEW Scooby-Doo Movies, M*A*S*H and even The Waltons. 1972, the year for CBS Television
Dumb Donald's father: Poor kid. It must have been a terrible shock...just like it was for me. The expression on Dumb Donald's mother's face was a classic. lol
Wow...Bill Cosby was slummin' in the live-action segments here. All unshaven' an' stuff. This must be early because Russell sounds like a real little kid doing the voice. In later episodes, the voice was different.
i'm no racist or whatever you're saying, I have two black goddamn nephews, they are two of the most nicest guys on this earth. i have several black friends and they're nice people too!
@nasa72 I am sure that you kids will have a great time with it! I remember when my mother borrowed the animated version of "Animal Farm" on one of those reels. We had a great time watching it!
Not old, Classic. It was one of the longest running cartoons in Saturday Morning history. And many timeless lessons that still stand up today can be learned. It educated without being preachy. Fat Albert could whip Andre 3000's scrawny ass any day
In this episode, Fat Albert referred to Dumb Donald as the only member of the gang who has his own room. However, I thought for sure that Fat Albert himself was an only child. This being the case, I wonder who he had to share a room with. I also thought that Rudy was an only child. Does anyone have any idea what I am missing?
LOL! He didn't say "BITCH", he said "baby." He also said, "...then he'll try to push me out of my room." "Then he'll", not negga. That's funny but you gotta get your mind out the gutter. LOL!
Fat Albert is a great series, but this one seems a little different. Bill Cosby sure looked different with a beard, which is not like him in other episodes. Also, Dumb Donald's parents look a lot different here than they do in "Watch Thy Neighborhood", another episode of this show! So, where's the rest of this episode?

"I'm sure it was a big shock... just like it was to me." Then that look on his wife's face. ROFL priceless. Thanks for uploading this!

The expression on Dumb Donald's mother's face was a classic. lol
Bill Cosby did most of the voices on this show to earn his PHd in child psychology. Bill is all about education. Very smart individual
Most of us would like to think that movie never happened.
This is Bill Cosby comin' at cha....with the pudding and the Jello and the yo-hoo-hoo paintbrush :)
“No I’m not. I’m under this one!” XD
you weren't around in the seventies when this show aired, there wasn't much on TV that little black kids living in the ghetto could relate to

In this episode, wasn't Donald mistaken thinking his mother was pregnant and they were actually taking care of a baby for the weekend?

Kinda wrong to force a newborn in his room who will wake him up all times of night as his parents rest well.
I hope the parents didn't put a newborn baby, in the room with Donald!
(There are laws, aren't there?)

So, where's the rest of this episode?
Foot long hot dogs wrapped in tortillas............. Um, yeah. Rock on, Dumb Donald.
it's sad the kids cartoons just aren't the same today.... too much overkill, and overexposure. no more innocence.
