The reason why the former Ma On Shan section of the Tuen Ma line ran on the right side was because of the convenience of changing to the East Rail at Tai Wai and not have to go up and down with the escalator

Justin fir some reason whenever I take SP and sit right at the front the doors make some extra sound after it closes like an extra bang. While the rest of the train it’s normal. Do you know what that sound might be? Maybe an extra lock at the front?
