Fun fact, some Wart hunter I mean War Thunder players who happen to be in the military got arrested for bringing up confidential information about some military vehicles to win an argument with some random kids, this happened multiple times
They litteraly uploaded classified documents to the forums to prove that the stats on the tanks were incorrect >_>

At 14:45, the reason Finland is still using Markka is the game takes place in 1995. Finland adopted the Euro in '99, but they would not stop using the Markka until about 2002.
If you want to feel even worse about that ending, the guy leaves a note. It isn't happy.. If you don't take the money and let a few days pass after he told you then he moves to a nicer house. It is kind of amazing how much of a life sim this game turned out to be.

Little story from me: My summer car actually saved me from opening radiator in real life. My car had almost no coolant so i went to petrol station to buy some, immediately after buying i opened the bonnet and tried to pour some but then i remembered how it went in MSC so i was like: okay let's just go home and wait for engine to cool down

It's way more dangerous on older cars that have the cap on the radiator, if your car has an expansion tank then it's _usually_ fine assuming you haven't driven for several hours and assuming that it's at normal operating temperature and not overheating.
If you've driven for like 15-20 minutes then you'll likely get a hiss like from opening a soda bottle. But yeah, there's pretty much zero scenarios where you would absolutely have to open it immediately so it's always best to wait

The game is a morality test. Is it okay to murder when you will only do ten days in prison? Is stealing from a drunk who himself has stolen from his wife just?

Not only that, but the drunk, in Martin's words, thinks you and him are friends. So that also adds an layer of betrayal.

As far as I know, Pena doesn't mean F unless it is either old Finnish or some specific dialect. We have a lot of those. Panna means "ban" (the ban itself that is), to put/place something, or to F. Pano, which is close to Pena, means the act of Fing itself or the acting of putting/placing something. The best part is that this is not a swear word. Pena can refer to pain, anguish, punishment, pity, but this all seems to be mainly some slang or specific dialect.
No matter what definition you use, they're all fitting descriptions for green car guy.

Story: When Martin did his Just Cause 3 speed run (another series of his I definitely recommend you watch, Jack 😉), one of the jokes he did was “B O A T,” similar to the bug joke he does in these videos. However, his audience also found it very funny and would constantly spam it during his livestreams whenever a boat would appear on screen. It got so overblown and he got so annoyed with it being spammed that he eventually banned the word from his chat.

My Summer Car is a gem of a game, I myself discovered it way back when from Robbaz, also believe it was good enough to spawn multiple low-effort copy-cat games.

06:08 Digital Combat Simulator(DCS) the one the guy is playing there it seems, is one of the most detailed combat oriented flight sims I have ever played. It puts every other flight sim to shame with the level of detail.
If you're the kind of guy who enjoys reading a 300 page manual just so you can turn on the engines and a further 600 pages to learn the weapon systems of the A-10 then it's the flight sim you would enjoy.

Yeah so, Project Wingman is fun and good for VR, but in no way trying to be realistic. It’s basically Ace Combat type “realism”, arcadey fun.
My summer car is set in Finland I’m pretty sure in the 1990’s so the mark or however you spell it over there was very likely still widely in circulation because the Euro wasn’t introduced until 2002? So that’s why they still use that currency in the game. (My comment could possibly be already obsolete because someone could’ve already said it in the comment section.)

My summer car takes place in the 1970's, so it takes place prior to Finland switching to the euro since they didn't do that until 2002.

6:10 if you have a rig like that, I think DCS World would be your best option if you want a "realistic" experience. From what I've seen, the models in that are extremely close to their real life counter parts, if not 1:1. DCS seems to have a really steep learning curve as well because how much depth and detail it has. This is just the conclusion I've come to from watching some people play it.
Can definitely recommend it, having spend hundreds if not thousands of hours in DCS. Learning it isn't really as hard as it seems, as there is excellent documentation for everything. The hard part isn't the mechanics, but rather the gameplay itself. Knowing how to deploy weapons is only a very small part of the difficulty. Everything you've learned comes together in a mission, and that's when it gets difficult. More importantly, it's also incredibly rewarding.
I think the game is scary realistic, people like me drive the countryside dirt roads like maniacs, there is a rally once in a while, theres a folkrace every fall, small village center, stores, pubs, etc

Not quite. A lot of EU countries do not use Euro. Though you are right, Finland was one of the first to switch to Euro. This game however... takes place a bit earlier than that. XD

In defense of Drunk Man we don't know the whole story of what motivated his theft. Given his ultimate decision, it seems as though our hero's betrayal is but the last in a long line of betrayals. I like to imagine he was trying to escape an abusive family and/or wife and/or in-laws. Obviously this doesn't make stealing okay, but when you're abandoning a life full of monsters, it can seem like a lifeline sent from above. Just the interpretation I like, as it makes things more dramatic. Yes, a car fixit game is making me contemplate these story beats, and that's why video games are art.

War thunder is fun, project wingman is fun. With a. Full SIM setup, war thunder simulation battles are fun. For older tech aircraft. Although you do have the tomcat now. But DCS is THE modern millitary air SIM to play. F 16, f 18, f22, F35 and A10 are amazing. Added with mods for the f22 and F35 that are too modern to be in a sim game without having potential legal issues (i think is the reason behind it being mod only) but yeah DCS can bring some insanely realistic experiences with a full setup.

About the wingman, it's as realistic, as GTA5 being train sim

The guy who had the full motion was I guarantee using it for DCS because that is just how there community is they always spend years and thousands of dollars building homemade full motion flight sims

so this is super super late... but to the question "which would you rate higher Project Wingman or Warthunder"?
Project Wingman *hands down*.
Yes there's FAR more to do in Warthunder.
Yes there's a much bigger community.
Yes Warthunder has a much longer history of active development and life as an online game..
But, Warthunder has:
- Lied multiple times to the community across multiple silent updates to vehicles (such as the notorious "german fuel tank fires" which effected much of the german tree, and 3 captured tanks in the russian line, which would catch on fire from nothing more than machinegun fire. it took 5 months for them to patch this "bug" as they called it after enough people finally made reviews about the issue and claimed they had no knowledge of the bug prior to that patch.)
- Blamed the community for their own misfortunate handling of PR stunts. Their economic fiasco that happened back in march is a great example as they policed their reddit, forums, silenced in-game chatters and tried to down-play the members that en-mass were against the changes as if they were ignorant children with no understanding of what they, *as players*, were playing. They then "apologized" to the community, and the head of public reputations not 2 hours later claimed people "were over-reacting". They also posted a condescending news article on their page "explaining" how free-2-play games made money and tried to validate how they were increasing the game's grind value would "improve" their play value. They proceeded to then have steam **silence** 200,000+ reviews by moving them to off-topic comments, while leaving positive reviews that had no content (in other words, removing legitimate reviews as if they were being "bombed", while the actual "bomb" reviews were left alone, because they improved their rating instead... real smooth... They then claimed they couldn't turn off the steam silencing and left it run for 6 **months**.
**This was the fourth mass-community backlash event they had in 12 years**. Second involving economy changes.
- They actively alter vehicle authenticity in favor of "balance" rather than history but then try to treat their changes as "legitimate historic alterations"....
These are just a few of the massive glaring issues with Gaijin as a whole.
Project wingman, by far, has a much nicer community, a far more wholesome small-time dev team, and a much broader opportunity to be adapted by modders for the benefit of survivability of the game. I will support PW far before Gaijin's warthunder, and even before Ace Combat (though i loved AC 5 and Zero.)

war thunder or a game with greater simulation such as IL-2 Great Battles will always be more engaging for a full simulator setup then project wingman.
its like comparing need for speed (project wingman) with forza horizon (war thunder) or assetto corsa (IL-2). a full setup will always feel better in a full sim.
