Singapore won the cup but this semi-final victory was the highlight I guess. Ken Worden backed out from the Singapore team before the season started which made it more sweet. Plus Alistair Edwards and Sundram left after playing for them in 1993..
Think this was the S'pore team that was abandoned by Ken Warden as the prepare for the season. He said the team needs longer time to be successful. Then Douglas Moore not recognize by many fans, took over.
It is. He left in a hurry citing ill preparation & an inferior squad. Incidentally, Douglas Moore was hired in an administrative role before taking over reigns somewhat unexpectedly.
