Here's my entry for the Winter 2023 edition of the Indie Film Music Contest.
Ranked 3rd place in "Standard - Slice Of Adventure" category.
Made it to the finalists.

COMPOSER'S NOTES:
The idea was to make a score that matches both the fast-paced action and the personalities of the two characters.
For instance, Snudge's screentime is illustrated with either a bassoon or a harpsichord, playing variants of a specific leitmotif. This is alluding to his "medieval" noble position.
As for Marvin, it mostly relies on electric guitars and drums, emphasizing his cool and radical personality. The occasional trumpets come to play when he accomplishes a milestone on his way.
Basically, the soundtrack is like a fight: Baroque & Symphony Orchestra VS Funky Music & High-Speed Pop Rock. It is further emphasized with not only tempo signatures changing, but also the organs: The ominous church one represents Snudge's mischiefs, whereas the jazzier one represents Marvin's attitude.
By the end of the story, the two styles are combined, as both Snudge and Marvin begin to mutually respect each other.
