Nice, taken from rage. Saw these guys at the Coogee Bay Hotel, got my shoes stripped in the mosh and made it all the way back to Katoomba without any shoes, good times.
i love turning it up and letting it blast in my head, it really helps when im depressed. this song blocks out the rest of the world for a couple minutes, then ,back to reality. FML
i love this song every time i thought of killing myself during my teens years i listened to this song and it helped me not want to this song most likely saved my life
For sad reasons this was my favourite song in 1999. Back then we used something called "Napster" to fetch music and played it with "Winamp" ☺ After all, these were good days.
I first heard this song in middle school and now I will no longer be a teenager within a week... Honestly guys, time flies. If you think your life sucks right now, don't worry. Life goes quick and soon you will be reminiscing about the shitty days you are living now.
Time's rollin' forward I'm gettin' bored Layin' on my back I'm losin' track Shifting patterns And nothin' matters Cause there's no one here And I've lost my fear Well I've got no place left to hide And I'm runnin' out of time Moving slowly The walls are closing in on me I can not see Appearing fine, well That's all a lie Cause I'm not alright Extinct inside And I'm runnin' out of time My mother says I'm fine A teenage suicide Yeah! No place to hide Well I've got no place left to hide No place to hide Well I'm runnin' out of time No place to hide Ya, I've got no place left to hide No place to hide My teenage suicide
Defintely their best album. This $#!+ will always remind me of my miserable days in high school, and the good times I had when I would get the hell out of there each day.
Somehow I got a copy of this on vhs when it came out. My buddies band practiced right next to them. They walked in on is covering the song before it even came out they used to be my favorite band too bad they went down hill after this album
I've been there done that, depression, suicidal teenager I was. but I'm still alive somehow??? I never took medicine just worked out my depression, I just did it on my own, it helped once I got away from the people that condemned me day in and day out :)
@TaxidermyTime Watch some of their live performances, especially of Up All Night. (If you actually watched it) Is that macho enough for you? A song about getting high and chillin' with your friends. Plus 14 years and a busy summer getting crisped by the sun on Warped Tour and Unwritten Law's still rocking in 2011!
to most ppl ur words may sound harsh but its tru...suicide rily does tear families apart n is very psychologically traumatising. There have bn a bunch of times i just wntd to end it all..home was an emotional minefield,my parents hitting each other for sport, excessive drinkin etc but being the eldest kid bears an addtnl weight in such circumstances..my bro n sis need me,that's what kept me alive.
ps I'm HERE to help ANYY of u (the ONLY reason I'm 'miraculously' still here after tortured & murdered. died.) who are WRONGFULLY labeled with anyyyyyyyy disorder control freaks in the system brainwash u to believe of urself ok? Cinderella was brainwashed by her stepmom too. she was a slave because she didn't believe she was still a princess after her mom died. prince charming isn't the only one who SEES thru abusers like that stepmom. Cinderella was never treated like a princess and that's WHY she was more grateful and perfect for prince than anyyyyyyyy pretty princess manipulative seemingly absolutely perfect for the throne (less genuine in her soul as Cinderella's soul shined mosttt genuine and beautiful to the prince even when she showed up to ball gardens beat up torn dress but her faith/godmother was why she still went. that prince not only SAW her in garden he ran after her not wanting ANY woman to be beaten like that in his future kingdom) I'd rather be Cinderella my entire life singing and talking to animals loving cleaning and serving others than evvvvvvvvvver be pretty professional City chicks these days who've been treated like princesses their entire lives haven't been thru jack shit in their entire lives and fake smiling narcissist that men like sharif Attia thinks are perfect. honestly if I was a guy I'd WANT to find a Cinderella. rare is TRUE love. a girl who GENUINELY is more grateful than anyone & more loyal for all of eternity in love not divorce than anyone he's ever met or will meet. Amen. ...so suicidal or not I accept u as u. Cinderella felt like u too trust me. 💕✝️ we're still here ❤️❤️❤️❤️
looking back on it all now, hard to believe I am 20 years too late for a teenage suicide. doesn't seem like that long ago I was wondering if I would make it.
Hey can someone please upload Here's to the morning by them. Please! I'd be so happy it's a great song! Like the 1st thing I want to hear in the morning. If u want that song uploaded please copy and paste on all Un-writen Law vids!
***** Ah, I see, thanks for the info. That's a story that's all too common (sadly). Yeah it's from The Show. I knew nothing about punk music and similar music until in 1998 my dorm roommate used to set his morning alarm to play The Show soundtrack CD. It would wake me up super hyped haha. Now I love punk lol
I understand cause I get amped as well. You should check out this song I've been listening to lately: Pridebowl - Brainwashing School. It makes me wanna surf and skate haha
@TaxidermyTime Lets see, 1. these guys have been around before the 'emo' concept came into play. 2. Its punk music 3. Its UNWRITTEN LAW there not emos/goths.
Ok your deffinition is different - i'm thinking of it as more skate punk which is often called either pop punk and hardcore (both sort of to either side of it) by a lot of people. my point was that pop punk is not emo, at least when pop punk first came out (thus the "90's"). Yes, i deffine hardcore as more teen idles-minor threat stuff but i think pennywise is more melodic.
emo actually started around the time of unwritten law emo has been around sicne early 90s although emo music back then was saves the day and weezer nothing to do with unwritten law though there just fucking sick ass skate punk
actually emo started early 90s but emo was a music genre not the suciidal fashion we have know emo was classified as Saves the day/ weezer style music completely different from Unwritten Law which has always been Skatey Punk Rock
is not emo, the fact that this songs speaks about the suicide in the teenage population does not mean that is "emo", actually that is one of the most important thing about 90s punk rock, the lyrics meant something... if this was emo the song would be about how to commit suicide... this lyrics only point the amount of kids that consider suicide due to faimly/schoo/life issues
Never think about suciding,,,, You knew life (its painful)... but who said death is NOT??? many people think that death is a rest....... !!!! WELL WE DONT KNOW THAT (it could be worst than life)
This guy ChinoMoreno4life hates the world and hates himself even though he probably won't admit it. A number of things could have happened in his upbringing to make him turn to deathmetal as an outlet. He was most likely picked on too much in school or abused at home. He'll probably grow up one day or just sabotage his life in the end. Its dissapointing that some people thrive on hate, but thats just thier way of coping with thier own pain.
if its rock gotta be from the 90's (Nirvana) era and if its hip hop gotta be from the 90s as well seems to me the 2000s were just as bad for music as the 80's, but im sure itll fix itself somehow haha
Don't get me wrong, I understand what you're saying. Human nature is survival. It is your will to live. REGARDLESS, it has happened, whether you believe it has or not. And the fact that you seem to want to blame this all on the media, people kill themselves daily. Guess you have to be in that situation to understand what someone is going through. But I bet you have two parents who love you and a whole bunch of friends. YOU might not know what it is like to want to die, but others do. Accept it.
Oh and as for genres give up lol, things change with time, I mean look at 50s rock compared to today's...very different sounds yet they are both called rock? There should be two genres in the world, epic or crap lol
Ultimate 90s skate punk classic. It's so perfect!!!
Such a good song lyrics are so real.. Fact of the day: The kid in the video is now in the band.. love it. OG's
Nice, taken from rage. Saw these guys at the Coogee Bay Hotel, got my shoes stripped in the mosh and made it all the way back to Katoomba without any shoes, good times.
👍 i saw them at penrith Evans theatre...to this day i still rate it as one of the most roughest mosh pits id ever been in... fuckin miss those days
i love turning it up and letting it blast in my head, it really helps when im depressed. this song blocks out the rest of the world for a couple minutes, then ,back to reality. FML
Takes me back to my teens every time, love it
i love this song every time i thought of killing myself during my teens years i listened to this song and it helped me not want to this song most likely saved my life
That's awesome that a song can be powerful enough to do that for you. Respect! Be Well
One of the most Underated bands ever!!
For sad reasons this was my favourite song in 1999. Back then we used something called "Napster" to fetch music and played it with "Winamp" ☺ After all, these were good days.

And now you’re an old man ;)
I remember seeing once twenty years ago on The Box.
Time's rollin' forward
I'm gettin' bored
Layin' on my back
I'm losin' track
Shifting patterns
And nothin' matters
Cause there's no one here
And I've lost my fear
Well I've got no place left to hide
And I'm runnin' out of time
Moving slowly
The walls are closing in on me
I can not see
Appearing fine, well
That's all a lie
Cause I'm not alright
Extinct inside
And I'm runnin' out of time
My mother says I'm fine
A teenage suicide
Yeah!
No place to hide
Well I've got no place left to hide
No place to hide
Well I'm runnin' out of time
No place to hide
Ya, I've got no place left to hide
No place to hide
My teenage suicide
Sad. But great lyrics
@@sumwonkool True. Amazing song
Anyone else notice the harmonic at every 4th note in the opening? OH, what a pitch that grinds into my inner ear!
Still listening to this in 2011

Bom pra caralho.
Are you telling me that the most popular version of this song on YT has the Band name spelt incorrectly in the title? That's kinda embarrassing
I still remember this song from the old Huevos Grandes videos.

Hey can someone please upload Here's to the morning by them. Please! I'd be so happy it's a great song! Like the 1st thing I want to hear in the morning. If u want that song uploaded please copy and paste on all Un-writen Law vids!
The song I beleive is also called here's to the mourning. Or it might be called get up or wake up. One of the three has to be right.
Badass band. Wish they stayed like this!
***** Why what happened to them? I only know them and this one song from The Show soundtrack from the surf movie
Well they suddenly made bad music (imo) and this song is from The Show actually right?
*****
Ah, I see, thanks for the info. That's a story that's all too common (sadly). Yeah it's from The Show. Cool, that's a good one, never heard it before. Thanks for the link!
@gfp314 actually, he went to jump and kill himself, but he landed in a mosh pit. which pretty much means that people supported him.
fuckin' great song! brings back the old memories.
I really do hate life too.. suicide is always on my mind every day..
yea :(
@TaxidermyTime Lets see,

both are great songs tho =]
the kid in the video is the lead singers bro isnt it?
good ending
weolcome to real live...
RAGE rage r r rage
I hate people that use the word suicide as an excuse for attention. They take away attention where its needed and from who needs it most.

many people think that death is a rest....... !!!! WELL WE DONT KNOW THAT (it could be worst than life)
the show - shane dorian part
all music is emo, except commercial jingles. cuz money is what motivated the writing of those jingles, not emotion.
WHAT???? Less than 5000 views, WOW!

Senate FTW
90's pop punk = the westminster abbies
Что я тут делаю
i've met Scott Russo the lead singer....him, or any of the band is not emo!
@jactasmar Please don't associate goths with emo. Tha's so wrong.
That ketchupless hotdog and glass of water has made me laugh since 1998.
Anyone else here from MotoXXX?
Wait, people think this is emo? They must be too young to realize the difference.
