From last 6 days i have completely overcome from depression and reduced smoking almost automatically. Now how can i thank him for giving me bhakti of krishna and bhagvatgita i dont know. Just to add to my previous comment,I knew nothing of India and it's spiritual essence until my mum got approached by Hare Krishnas in the 1970s and she came home tossing incense and the latest edition of BACK TO THE GODHEAD magazine on the kitchen table declaring that the only way she could get away from them was to make a donation and accept the goods they offered. I was mesmerised by what I was reading. Life passed way too quickly but in 2012 I finally got to visit India and I've been back 6 times since. I'm more comfortable in India then my own country and my indian friends are my family, hence why I said this man led me home. Home is where your heart is 💗

My first taste of India was Kolkata. I remember sitting on the window area of sapphire suites overlooking sudder st admiring the broken down building Opposite me, taking in the sights,sounds, colour and energy. I remember feeling "I've come home" if I said anymore you'd be reading a book,lol.

Srila Prabhupada has pinpointed the reason for our lack of knowledge of God (Minute 3.00). He says -------"How can we know? There is no educational system about the science of God ". This movement, Krishna Consciousness movement, is teaching the science of God. " Very true indeed. I was wondering why our governments do not teach our children the science of God in schools ! I feel that it is because of the element of faith. There are a lot of scriptures in the Hindu religion like the Gita, Puranas like Bhaghavata, the Upanishads etc. that give a clear picture about the science of God. But nobody teaches them either at schools or at home ! And so Hindus waste their precious human life in pursuit of worldly pleasures. What a pity! Many of the Hindus imagine that visiting some temples and attending some temple festivals alone constitute their religious duties.Most of them have not even heard of the names of the Hindu scriptures like the Gita; then how can we expect them to read and study such wonderful scriptures which form the foundation of the Hindu religion! Indians must thank the western world for the increased interest in Hindu scriptures that is spreading everywhere.

Srila Prabhupada has pinpointed the reason for our lack of knowledge of God (Minute 3.00). He says -------"How can we know? There is no educational system about the science of God ". This movement, Krishna Consciousness movement, is teaching the science of God. " Very true indeed.
I was wondering why our governments do not teach our children the science of God in schools ! I feel that it is because of the element of faith. There are a lot of scriptures in the Hindu religion like the Gita, Puranas like Bhaghavata, the Upanishads etc. that give a clear picture about the science of God. But nobody teaches them either at schools or at home ! And so Hindus waste their precious human life in pursuit of worldly pleasures. What a pity! Many of the Hindus imagine that visiting some temples and attending some temple festivals alone constitute their religious duties.Most of them have not even heard of the names of the Hindu scriptures like the Gita; then how can we expect them to read and study such wonderful scriptures which form the foundation of the Hindu religion! Indians must thank the western world for the increased interest in Hindu scriptures that is spreading everywhere.

B'coz, that interest arises purely by half- knowledge, misleading, incorrect concept LED BY "Evangelical influence" over them, by Islamic Mullas or Christian Evangelical Preists, as it happens in Abrahamic World. Means, their interest is a result of pure "Evangelical Spin".....otherwise, NEVER NORMAL spiritual interest/connection essentially created mass-conversion. We live in Bengal, have visited Kalyani and Bandel Gurudwaras (two nearest Gurudwaras near our location) more than 50 times on different occasions, including Guru Nanak's birthday, and I became the Chief matrimonial witness of one of my close Muslim friend's marriage here in mosque, in Muslim marriage act. That's what I am saying; all of our south-east Asian Faiths originated here, impart da ideology of international acceptance & solidarity. But tell me honestly, do you see that essence in Evangelical spirit?
