AEW has a few bright spots but it's mostly shit. They aren't putting on better shows, they are resorting to the same old shit every week that is only over with their core, niche audience.

Having that partnership with AAA really allows for some awesome matches! I've only really been watching Lucha Libre(outside of stuff in WCW and WWF) since around 2010 but it's been consistently at the core of some of my favorite matches since I started watching it.

Mil Mascaras was my childhood hero growing up. I collected masks of every Luchador when we made trips to Mexico. The 3 Eternal Gods of Lucha are El Santo, Blue Demon and Mil Mascaras. But I also loved the Rudos (heels) such as La Ola Blanca (The White Wave) consisting of Dr. Wagner Sr, Angel Blanco, and El Solitario, and later Gran Markus. 1st match I ever saw live as a kid was Gino Hernandez & Gran Markus vs Jose Lothario & Mil Mascaras at the old Sam Houston Coliseum in Houston. Ahhhh, I miss my childhood. But AEW has reignited my love for Lucha Libre in the US.

He had to learn to master it when he was "Místico" (2/copy) in Mexico, but he doesn't match the original "Místico" also known as the "Sin cara" (Original) and "Mystezis" (original)
Vikingo is incredible, does some things in the ring that I've never seen before which is impressive in this day and age, but Dralistico is really great too, his last two matches on Rampage have been outstanding, hoping LFI get a push soon.
Excellent the work AEW is doing getting Mexican and Japanese wrestlers in order to improve their shows. This one was great so get me more luchadores, what a way to understand wrestling (and the women, think what the joshi have done for the women Division with two wonderful champs, it's time to bring some Mexican women other than Rosa).
Absolutely great match. I feel like there was a little too much time selling for 2 guys who the AEW crowd aren't that familiar with, however they told a story and got people invested.

They have had a few 1,020 million ratings on a couple of the dynamite shows and the other show that has been using only a select few wrestlers each show has been at a steady 1 to 2 million. Our opinions are just going to be different but according to the majority it was not a 7 star match it was a bathroom break. You can't keep having match's letting people get away with anything, no storylines, not showing a package for wrestlers appearing that not everyone knows and expect the fans to care about the match no matter how you try to pretty it up. A good match has a build up or a reason. Not all the wrestling fans in this age know these wrestlers. So for them it's Kenny Omega vs some guy that is a high flyer because the booking was lazy.

Modern wrestling and wrestlers have no concept of how to put matches together. Why do they use everyone's finishers and then kick out of all of everyone else's moves? It buries the codebreaker, Balor's move and other too.
