I like your method. When you see a box or bag that looks like it has goodies you grab the whole thing. Faster than picking through each item. You can hit more stores that way.

I think it’s better to go Sunday’s because they close early and wear gloves a mask and a jacket bring big bags and boxes if you’d like to help carry the stuff (I’ve never gone dumpster diving btw) hope this helped! :)

Also we have to damage out anything that we are not selling anymore. So that means any returns that are not on the floor or do not pull up as sellable in the system we cannot sell it and have to dispose of it. Also any product with alcohol in it (room sprays, body mists, wallflower refills, hand sanitizer, etc.) We are not supposed to put it in the trash

Hey I just wanted to tell you with the broken pallet if you pop out certain eyeshadows there are pallets that are magnetic that you can put the broken ones on there from the color pot brand so basically if you take the circle eyeshadows out you can pop them onto the eyeshadow palette and it’s like your own little custom pallet and I’m pretty sure the custom pallet to buy that’s magnetic is not that much totally worth it let me know if you see this
This is crazy to me, because literally policy at Bath & Body we have to destroy returned candles, buckets to dispose of sprays & we have to pour out cream or body wash prior to dumping the bottles.
Right. I know someone here who actually got fired along with 2 other people for taking things that were being thrown away at BBW. Also they arrest people for going in store dumpsters.. which I dont see the big deal. They are throwing it away anyway lol

Ive been binge watching your videos all day today. Ive been curious, when diving for makeup, how do you clean/sanitize products such as mascara, concealer, lip gloss since they are in tubes and have wands?
JessieGoGreen hi! Thanks for watching. Eyeshadow powder products are the easiest to disinfect. Liquids are a lil bit for tricky, i rarely use mascaras or lips glosses if they look really used. But if I do salvage them I wash the wand with soap and very hot water. Then I will soak the wand in rubbing alcohol for like 10 mins. I will also put a few drops of alcohol into the lipgloss or mascara. Once I put the lid back on and will keep the items in the freezer over night. Nothing is a 100% Guaranteed to be safe but u just have to use ur better judgment. I clean all these items the same way stores clean them before they test them on costumers.

If I had a cool adventurous friend with a car I would do this every weekend. Sound really fun but risky. I have bad nerves so I'd be paranoid of being caught by security or the cops.
In some city’s u can, you will have to check ur county’s laws on dumpster diving. And u can’t dumpster dive on private property. So watch out for no trespassing signs. Also there really isn’t a certain day. I check daily and you have to be persistent
I keep a lot of them, I have always loved makeup. I give tons to family and friends too. I’ve also donated new items to women’s shelters. I don’t sell makeup I find

I went to my ULTA yesterday at night. And let me just say I have no idea how you do this. I couldn't find how to hop in, I was so scared and paranoid my anxiety kept doing me wrong while some cars kept passing by... I just left lol... I'm disappointed in myself
I just jump on, I’m able to reach my leg over and get in and out. But I know not everyone can. So it’s also good to have a lil stepping stool with you or invest in a nice long grabber. When u 1st start u will be nervous and paranoid but once u start finding stuff u will want to check every dumpster u see lol
If they were hid in recycling I’d bet an employee hid it to get later! They do that at mine

They usually throw them out if they are past the used date but we all know you can use a pallets longer than the used date from when we purchased it

The blanket or throw was the best find. It actually has real value and is beautiful. The "weird material" is called wool.

Pearberry smells good😍. It was around in the 90s. Discontinued BBW scent.
45 year old here. Pearberry was IT back then. Smells amazing. Gosh I miss that scent.
