This is good. I love all the details like the settings and everything that goes into it.not a cookie cutter documentary like 99 percent

I am not going to watch it, because I don't like the producers. But if you are talking about suspension, and everything it affects. I got a great book by Paul Thede, founder of Race Tech, called the suspension bible. I have been working on my own stuff for decades, including my suspension/engines, and I have read that book 3 times now, and still picking up stuff I missed. That was my trick for getting good grades too (in college, not HS). "Repetitive study" I call it. Just do it till you know it, and the "A's" come rolling in for anything that takes a brain to get an A in.

@@EarthSurferUSA as a born and raised In Rochester NH I'm factory connection to the death. But it's not just the suspension it's everything and u don't get that anywhere but as a racer that's not my job , how do I go faster . Appreciate it but just wanna see the behind the scenes all aspects . It's such a guarded sport like who cares ,NFL has hard knocks ,Jett and Eli will smash you no matter what u do it's weird

Great to see something about Marvin, wish he was still racing. Oddest choice of depressing background music for a motorcycle documentary though.

"you are a very lucky man" I don't think I believe in luck anymore. I now know there is a probability for anything that can possibly happen in reality, even if there are a lot of confusing factors involved, so I don't see any reason to believe in "luck". Marvin was not lucky. He worked hard at getting fast and he created his talents like we all should do, (we are not the same people of course, and we all make different decisions that guide our lives. I know some of mine did not work out like I wanted.). Yes, there is such a thing as being at the right place at the right time with the right skills, but that is not luck. First you have to have earned the skills, and as long as we have free market opportunity, if you can't find the place in time, (others who can use your skills, and you could use theirs), then you can build something great. Or you can even create a new industry yourself, (others catch on fast with new industries to compete, called opportunity). That's how we built this place the USA.
Now if you are saying he is lucky because of his successes, then ask our schools why we shipped our opportunity (production) to communism in china starting 45 years ago, leaving us only sports to make money with? :)
Trust me, if we get our free enterprise and individual liberty to create and compete back,----it won't be because of luck.

Havnt seen this before but i believe this doc is like 8 years old. Hopefully it was released in 2016 as the beginning of his career was much brighter then how it ended.
Watching a doc about a mans dreams is less enjoyable when even he would admit he never fully achieved them.

This must be from 2016 or 2018. He did good in the US 450 classes, won a couple of races but never won a title. Today he is more or less retired.

Hey Bot documentary! How about a story of what happened to Blake Baggett. Ya know, it does not happen every day when a factory riders disappear off the face of the earth like jimmy hoffa.
And how about a follow up on what caused Jeff Alessi's heart attack, (RIP Jeff Alessi), at the healthy age of 37 in his sleep?
    Make yourself useful.

Is it me or at 1:34:53 does it look like when Blake Bagget looked back to see who was behind him. Does it seem like he didn’t get into big of a hurry to get gather himself up and get going again and get back into rhythm with the track. I mean I know it’s hard to gather yourself up after a big bobble because it gets your attention really quick (I know it does from my days of racing amateur and it can somewhat put in a state of shock for a few seconds but do you think he kind of went a little slower tho. I dig Marvin, but I can tell this vid is junk just from the headline. How?
Because I was just a kid buying brand new bikes making $1.00hr, that allowed me to chase my dreams. All those dreams are gone kids. you can't afford a bike to get started into things like engineering, and other productive entities where we actually use our brains to prosper. That was the American dream. Not just sports.
If our dreams were just about sports, then you might as well call it the Brazilian dream, because with no free enterprise, sports is all they are left to play with.
    We are almost there.
