True. Although you have to take into account that sometimes people ping items not because of a bad build but because of their timing/current (low) farm.
He was pinging the fact that they were not on CD, taking notice that Grubby spent absurd gold on items to not even use them effectively. Whenever you get the chance, shuriken any other target than the one that is tracked, and you will get a feel for it. Love your new dota serie. Was my main game before (played for over 15 years). I can't play anymore dota because I become toxic really fast when I climb ladder. Still love to watch it! A great and deep game have fun!
Grubby, I think for this rank. If you know that it is a support hero that you track and he is alone I think you could try to kill him (for this game it is zeus and sniper) as long as they are not on your enemy high ground or you think that they are alone. Because that is where you will have a kill potential. Also preferrably, you can track them while you are defending tower, that is where you will have vision advantage on them via your own tower's vision. And try to track as many as 5 enemies for that moment because there will be lots of dead heroes when a fight breaks out at that moment. Your enemies will be afraid in pushing a tower if you harass them so much when you have an aghs scepter because 1. They'll be afraid because they know that they will not buy a sentry ward to put near tower when they push.(Literally 95% of games in herald to crusader rank) so that they could find and try to kill your hero and 2. Because they are just gonna be afraid of your aghanims timing. You know when in pros, specifically they smoke when the cores have bkb item completed? You could do that too when you have an aghanims scepter on your Gondar. That is one of your item timings that you are looking for for that hero. In short: let your enemies think that they could push. But in reality, you are only preparing them for your track and bouncing shurikens and **cha ching** **cha ching** you can now collect your bounties! :)

Man I love how your first question is "why" when ever Ceb suggests something you to do or buy. Sadly it's so rare to hear people who asks the "why?" question these days.
I don't know how helpful this will be, but I think you should play Bounty Hunter like you would the Orc Blademaster, except you'll die faster if you screw up (Dota units have higher damage compared to your HP than you do in WC3 - you usually have 900-1,000 HP at level 7, and a maxed out basic nuke spell does around 300). It's great that you're playing around your invis around the 40 minute mark onwards, but it should be the norm for your hero. If you're going to an area with fog, pop that invis immediately, and don't harass with Toss unless your invis CD is back up. I prefer going for Shadow Walk on level 2 (sometimes at level 1 if your team would prefer to defend than attack at level 1). If you have Scepter and you want to harass with the bouncing Shuriken Toss, try to hit an untracked hero or a ranged creep and then have it bounce to your tracked targets. In your early game harass when you're hitting TB with Toss>Jinada, you're better off flipping that into Jinada hit out of invis then Toss. Shadow Walk slows the target you hit. Doing Toss>Jinada would make you Toss at its max range which is farther than your melee range, and it could complicate landing the Jinada hit.
Grubby do you know the "5 reasons to pick" videos on youtube? Those are funny animated short videos about every hero with tons of jokes, definitely worth to look at :D
I don't remember seeing you use hex even once :P Very much a beginner problem, been there, done that. Buy an item and then forget to ever use it when opportunities come along.
since Grubby is still not familiar with all the heroes and their skills, I think this was a good attempt! Once you get more experienced you will know when you are strong and should engage. You played too passively this game when you were in fact way stronger than your opponents.
I'm surprised how often grubby isn't watching the fights. I'd expect him to have better camera movement tbh I would have also been tilted AF as pudge in this game lol. So often that enemy heroes revealed themselves and didn't get tracked. Also i don't think grubby hexed a single time Still, he's new and his build gave him tons of buttons to press
1. You didn't buy the aether lens you were supposed to buy xD. 2. You could have thrown waaaaaaay more shurikens. It's your main source of damage and with octarine it has a cd of like 3 secs - you were busy running circles in fights after you threw some spells. You really should use your cd on the max. 3. You should have hexed Axe as soon as he blinked in. Could've changed the fight in the end
Bounty is actually a more difficult hero than Meepo .. it's more of positioning, vision , and teamplay .. once you have your agh, aetherlense you can get forcestaff , lotus kinda team items.
The role of BH in competitive dota after level 7 is not last hit or farming, it's constantly roaming around the map, warding, scouting, sometime you smoke tank for your team, often times you will be the cover for the core heroes that need farming. Usually the BH player are the one needs to aware the mini map the most, call ganking, call missing for the team, help your team with vision. After laning phase, BH staying in lane and farming is wrong...

this aa's ulti always on point, damn
Grubby, Ceb, Topson, Gorgc, +1 stream
I don't remember seeing you use hex even once :P Very much a beginner problem, been there, done that. Buy an item and then forget to ever use it when opportunities come along.
holyshit grubby is already controlling equilibrium with aggro tricks. you are immortal in no time
You can also kill supports when you play BH. Because his ult gives you crit dmg every timr you hit which good pair to your 2nd skill
invisi then track all enemies, then toss all of them with 1 toss. you keep letting enemies go back into the darkness without providing vision.
Hey grubby, you should put more short clip of your games, I get a lot of shortclips from channels other that your's
Why are there people walking behind cen
since Grubby is still not familiar with all the heroes and their skills, I think this was a good attempt!
Once you get more experienced you will know when you are strong and should engage. You played too passively this game when you were in fact way stronger than your opponents.
He was playing too safe
I'm surprised how often grubby isn't watching the fights. I'd expect him to have better camera movement tbh
I would have also been tilted AF as pudge in this game lol. So often that enemy heroes revealed themselves and didn't get tracked. Also i don't think grubby hexed a single time
Still, he's new and his build gave him tons of buttons to press
I'm here waiting for Grubs' A-Z Ember video!
54:30 axe call Me: CEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEBBBBBBBBBB
its crazy how ceb can just tell u guys are gonna win this fight here straight after their pos 1 gets deleted id be running away from the fight lol
Now that I watched the history of OG, ceb might try to recruit you lol.
Unrelated, but I miss the old patch BH with aghs shuriken bounce. You can deal a ton of damage while practically watching from a distance.
BH`s track also good for combo with Tinker, you can spam missile with a good vision . It`s pretty annoying , lol.
Grubby is going to be nasty with meepo once he gets his foundations down
Nice thumbnail sir
havent been in dota for a while. but excuse me wtf is that sniper weapon?!?!
Why didn't you hex axe when he jumps in. He has no bkb
Bounty is actually a more difficult hero than Meepo .. it's more of positioning, vision , and teamplay .. once you have your agh, aetherlense
you can get forcestaff , lotus kinda team items.
Love the thumbnail
The role of BH in competitive dota after level 7 is not last hit or farming, it's constantly roaming around the map, warding, scouting, sometime you smoke tank for your team, often times you will be the cover for the core heroes that need farming. Usually the BH player are the one needs to aware the mini map the most, call ganking, call missing for the team, help your team with vision. After laning phase, BH staying in lane and farming is wrong...
having fun > winning
It's so disturbing seeing him last hitting this bad
