Didnt know the OEM exhaust weighed that much! 😱😱 thats awesome and it sounds way better than the stock exhaust and like you said it doesnt sound like rice! Great review! Thanks again for your videos.
Thank you for watching the video and taking the time to leave a comment. Make sure to check out S2Ki for some used exhaust and eBay as well for a bargain.
Love like a hurricane, you heard right! Most people see gains with a exhaust after a tune. You also have to size it correctly to the rest of the exhaust system as far as diameter goes. Thank you for watching man!
James Bond, I did not feel any difference from either the 63.5 HFC or the exhaust. The only time I have felt a difference with a mod and a substantial one at that, is when I re-flashed the tune with the Hondata Flashpro.
It is pretty loud. Some drone at lower RPMs but I feel it brought some more character to the car compared to stock. After about a year, I did want to go back to OEM though.
@@Just_Wanna_Drive I think the weight savings is pretty big. The only issue is that they make an exhaust cut-out cover for the AP1 but not the AP2. So you have a noticeable cut out in the bumper that does not compliment the car. The sound is awesome epically with the top down, the weight savings is great, but the mild drone and highway driving is a pain. Hearing music on the highway is hard already with the S2000. I just want to give you the whole picture so you know what you are stepping into if you go that direction. That is awesome that you are auto-crossing. You can also remove the extra tire, tool kit, and try to get some Enkei RPF1 lightweight wheels.
@@DriversTherapy thanks for the detailed information! 🍺 I actually like the stock exhaust note; I've never really liked a loud 4cy engine not either. I'll probably hold off until I feel like it's necessary. Driver mod is top priority right now. The ap2 I'm picking up already has a set of NT03-m's on it. 😁
Really makes no sense to run a high flow cat in bigger diameter with thicker wall and giant flanges. Titanium sounds like shit because it’s light, it’s meant for racing, not sound. Your high flow cat is making it sound nice. But honestly running cheap 18 gauge stainless straight pipe will probably yield the same weight saving.
The exhaust didn’t sound too bad. I purchased this used on eBay so I am not sure how much more a stainless steel one would have saved me. If I recall I ran the 62mm Berk high-flow cat but it’s been a wild.
I have the Invidia duals on my car, but even they are a little heavy... 10 pounds?! That's awesome!
I hear that is a great exhaust as well. The weight was a surprise for sure. Thank you for watching the video.

Nothing beats the buddy club spec 2 exaust for the s2000 although js does sound nice.

Great review man, thanks I'm looking for a catback at the moment

I read on s2ki it’s difficult to find a cat back exhaust that doesn’t lose power

Yes they do. 😅😩😲
@@DriversTherapy ah shucks - thanks buddy
Any diff with the 63.5 hfc? Mind doing an update video I'm looking into doing a similar setup

@@DriversTherapy awesome thanks man!
Hi, how’s the drone on this titanium single exit?
Not bad at all in city driving but in highway speeds it is evident.
How loud is it for daily use?

@@DriversTherapy thanks for the reply... I'm considering it for the weight savings for STR class autox, but I'll also drive it most days.

@@Just_Wanna_Drive Best mod for an AP2 is the Hondata Flashpro. Hands down.
