Actually I think this particular set of stories would work fine in CGI. The reason they didn’t adapt the Small Railway Engine stories until the CGI era is because that would’ve been difficult with models, I imagine the same applies to the Mountain Engines. The CGI adaptation of Small Railway Engines was actually really good!

shame they didn't make this railway series book as part of the tv series, while it was the original models and not the CGI Shit we get now days.
