It was fun to watch 😃 but how do you get around positive people for instance, my friend and hubby had to stay at family's place when they landed and it was alot of negatives about the uk from them...same thing when she goes to school around her friends. shes living with said family for now...whats your advise on how they can keep a positive energy. as it seems to be rubbing off on the hubby. Its almost like she cant avoid the negativity.
See, she needs to keep her head up. There is a saying act like others and think as you like. She doesn’t have to tell them off but rather decide for herself that no matter what they say this land will be fruitful to her and she will flourish. The uk is a great country to live, definitely not the best but far better than Nigeria. I feel people who talk negatively are not just ready to work and withstand the hard times of moving into a new country. All the difficult parts of this country combined is not up to a quarter of the madness in Nigeria. Tell your friend, it is hard now and it will be for a while but It gets easier with time.
