I’ve scoured the channels the last couple years and you really do have the most useful and well explained tips out there. I’m 60, been playing NHL for years (strictly Squad Battles, cause…..70-80 work weeks doesn’t leave much time). But your tips have taken me from playing just rookie mode to actually playing some matches in Superstar; something I’d never thought possible. I watch a lot of streamers who could move up a couple divisions with your tips. I’ve noticed mastering just a couple moves can really separate you in the lower divisions, fast. My goal, which I’ll credit you with, is to actually play online in 2025. Excellent tutorials!

@rachelhall124 most of the videos still apply, basics stay the same, just minor tweaks and adjustments to them. Faceoffs are the absolute same, defense is similar, goals are not so much
Bro, really, good video , but my problem is with the right stick reason why, because when I use and deke with right stick my skater just shoot , automaticly and also when I on total control and axidently press R3 right stick , because is happens making reverse hit , which is absolutely stupid.

Have you had problems with this before…. I dominate puck possession, shots on goal, quality chances, and I’ll lose by 1 goal… I’ll win 6 in a row playing the same way, and then lose 6 in a row with terrible CPU play. And these sequences have been happening to me a lot in the last two weeks. It’s never happened before. Does anyone else have this problem for online versus?
1. Sometimes takes forever for L2 to even activate 2. Sometimes it doesn't even activate 3. And when it does activate the guy won't do the spin unless you are going complete sideways. Did they change it? If not what's going on.
@@AaronTheGoat-us8lv It's still overpowered. I play D and I got guys just making unrealistic turns for 10 seconds without losing much speed at all. It wouldn't be such a big deal but the short side close quarters shots are pretty OP so even if you take the angle, that BS lets them score from the goal line

It’s kinda hard to make a video on that, cuz it’s very based on the player. The skill itself is simple, use the right stick, but to master it, is just to use deceptiveness which I can’t really teach. I can show you while I coach, but I can’t really show it without seeing what you’re missing

That’s the developers fault. Blame the creators of the game, not those that do this stuff. What he is doing takes a lot of skill. Takes a lot of skill in return to defend that skill and it’s also not like the real game of hockey. This is really one of those moments where you don’t hate the player but hate the game. The developers made it so people can do this. Hate them. He isn’t exploiting the game. He is playing it how it was developed .
I don't understand how a spin Deke is exploiting the game yeah maybe they don't do it in every game in real life but that's because most players probably can't or they don't want to risk a massive hit after they spin. But Dekes in the game is just strategy to help open up the ice which is what you want to do.... if you can't Deke yet then your one of those people that say it's not realistic hockey blah blah blah just keep practicing and you'll get it.
When I play Madden and I go for it on 4th down or go for a two-point conversion that's not realistic but it doesn't ruin the game and most of the time it comes back to bite me in the ass but that's the risk part of the excitement
Correct me if I'm wrong but it's only gone in neutral zone. Also I tried it a bit everywhere in the O zone and it's not always working. Maybe it was a glitch. But I need to practice this, although with the way the hitting game is going on, I fear I'll be on my *ss very often when entering the zone.
@martmet8688 you need to put your stick closer to the side of your players handedness. If your skating straight middle with a right, move slightly to the right then you should be good. Things like that

Yes. You can only L2 in certain areas now because apparently it was too overpowered
