I was just about to come on and comment on it! I agree. A movie with my two fave horror guys (well, Vincent would have created the triumvirate) and my fave tv cop "WHO LOVES YA BABY" vs the Cossacks and an undead ancient "creature"! Horror Express scared the heck out of me as a kid when I first saw it first run in the 70s and the score was amazing - that scary whistling dude!
Love that too! Then again, I am biased to love anything with Peter...when I was tested for Cushing's Disease recently, my oldest brother remarked - why did Peter give you a disease and started quoting Star Wars.@@markabboud4855
TRIVIA: This is also the first film of Vanity, best known for the films The Last Dragon, Action Jackson, and of course, her association with Prince. She's credited as "D.D. Winters" in this.
I found that out, too, when I watched this for the first time last October, and I couldn't take my eyes off her the entire movie and had to go on IMDB to look her up. She really was stunning in the movie ✨️ Course, you left out the movie where she gets sexually assaulted by a blue-eyed gorilla from her credits 😏
This is a great under appreciated slasher. Copperfield adds a mesmerizing intrigue while you’ve got some clever ideas to shake up the whodunnit formula. I knew this would give you plenty of fun material! Good job!
It does have that My Bloody Valentine's vibe. The orbit of course. I hadn't thought about but it has that strange feeling that I don't think I have felt in in any other movie.
Wow they really had to think long and hard about what kind of character David Copperfield would play. Welcome back snob i hope Jacks first christmas was great.
I'm loving the new cinema snob theme. The original will always be the iconic and one I most associate with the show even though it was made originally for a completely different show. The original is what I would describe as sarcasm is symphony.
I just rewatched this in a cinema in London a couple of weeks ago. It was the first time I watched it in about four or five years, and the first time I've ever seen it in a cinema. It's an awesome slasher film which deserves more of a fan following. It's a beautiful looking film with a great cast and a really creepy villain, and I like that there's a definitive ending, with no sequel bait. I also watched the trainwreck of 2022 remake [ which I didn't even know what a thing that existed previous to a couple of weeks ago ] and its simultaneously filmed, and even lazier, sequel. Both are horrible.
True facts about Hart Bochner…in addition to acting as the coked-up slimeball in DIE HARD, he also ended up being the killer in the disappointing URBAN LEGENDS:FINAL CUT sequel…as well as the Director of the (not bad) Jon Lovitz “Dangerous Minds”-spoof movie HIGH SCHOOL HIGH! Eclectic career! (He’s also the son of legendary Hollywood tough guy actor Lloyd Bochner)
I remember my friend watching this on the phone together. She was at her house and I was at my house while we watched terror train together and talking about the scenes. We were in 5th grade. Scared the crap outta us. I didn't think anybody saw this but us.
You're going to have the chance to review another great movie from 1980 after seeing it in a movie house. Yes Caligula the Ultimate Cut will be playing in theaters in North America this year and Malcolm Mcdowell is actually promoting it.
Great way to start off 2024! I got a feeling it's gonna be a bumpy year! Awesome slasher film! I agree. It's extremely well made! Jamie Lee Curtis and Ben Johnson were dynamite in this film! I actually reviewed this film about a year ago. Always interesting to see another creator's take! Also a little surreal knowing I got to this film before the Cinema Snob.
Its an enjoyable 80s slasher. I do like when some people try to figure out what was wrong with the killer or anyone and say it was probably just dope lol
It's great to have the classic Snob suit and glasses back again minus the glasses lenses, lol we just need the comfy chair back, and all will be right with the world again. A great start to the new year. Terror Train is a fun slasher movie that has held up well over the years.
Ah yes, Terror Train Up there in the halls of late 70’s/early 80’s Jamie Lee Curtis greats And frankly an interesting take on Murder on the Orient Express to be honest
This movie was a victim of randomness for me. It paused on buffering on the scene at 1:20 and I thought: "Wtf, why this chick looks like a guy? Is this intentional? Are we supposed to notice? Oh damnit..." and the plot twist dawned on me.
I really like this forgotten slasher. I first stumbled across it on television when I was in college and wasn't disappointed when I watched it in full a few years later. Happy New Year, Brad!
Decided to watch this one first, since it is the first new Cinema Snob review of 2024. I did see another review of this on another channel. Looks really well made for a Canadian slasher movie. Also got to give props to the David Copperfield stuff.
i want to write that my name is Josh Tate and i first watched Terror Train for the first time on December 31, 2000 and now i watch Terror Train every year on New Years Eve.
One of John Alcott’s downright-Kubrickian slick turd-polishes of otherwise unmemorable 80’s B-movies into cult status, along with The Beastmaster and Vice Squad. Who cares if it’s cheap, so long as it LOOKS good.? 😎
Got the UK 88 Films blu ray release. Good film. Interesting to see the Horror Express trailer - Chris Lee and Peter Cushing, and Telly Savalas 😀 The Night Train Murders is also good - again I've got the early release from 88 Films.
Saw this round a mates house & thought it was pretty decent! I'd recommend the Snob review Pin if he hasn't already; it's got the guy who played Locke from LOST in.
Not gonna lie... but this has to got to be the most impressive Cinema Snob review that I have ever seen! Quite a great way to start off 2024 if you ask me 😏😉👍
Always happy to see a new Snob video. The whole household is excited every time.
Great household you got there. I'm kinda jealous I gotta admit.
That's kinda weird. 😂
Grandma and all the kids, totally dig Brad.
That’s rad dude
The twist in Terror Train is not who the killer is but where the killer is hiding.
That story about how the director told his wife the idea for the film was so adorable 😂
Not sure about everyone else but I’m a pretty big fan of Horror Express - a really fun Cushing and Lee horror flick.
Horror Express is a great film. Another I like not a lot of people know about is The Creeping Flesh.
Love that too! Then again, I am biased to love anything with Peter...when I was tested for Cushing's Disease recently, my oldest brother remarked - why did Peter give you a disease and started quoting Star Wars.@@markabboud4855
@@markabboud4855 Yes! I love the Creeping Flesh as well!
Horror Express rules. It's like faux Hammer Studios
She really was stunning in the movie ✨️

That remake really made me appreciate the original, even more than I already did.
For those wondering the music in the intro is called video by buddy causey
This is a great under appreciated slasher. Copperfield adds a mesmerizing intrigue while you’ve got some clever ideas to shake up the whodunnit formula. I knew this would give you plenty of fun material! Good job!
LOVE the Cinema Snob and watching his always unique spin on movies. He always delivers. 👍
Alright, the first Cinema Snob video of 2024!
Let's see what's in store for us this year!
Ah an old favorite. I think I watched this dozens of times back in the day. Thank you for this blast from the past Snob.
LOVE DA INTRO SONG
gOD, that theme song is so good
I love this movie. Has similar cozy and chill vibes as My Bloody Valentine and Jamie Lee Curtis is great in it.
It does have that My Bloody Valentine's vibe. The orbit of course. I hadn't thought about but it has that strange feeling that I don't think I have felt in in any other movie.
I love it when he just looks for any excuse to end a review with the music from King Frat
Wow they really had to think long and hard about what kind of character David Copperfield would play. Welcome back snob i hope Jacks first christmas was great.
!!!! Best part of my day
I'm loving the new cinema snob theme. The original will always be the iconic and one I most associate with the show even though it was made originally for a completely different show. The original is what I would describe as sarcasm is symphony.
The killer smashing against the ice then dragged downstream is brutal damn
Great movie. Wish there were more like terror train
Whoa! Jamie Lee Curtis and David Copperfield in one movie? This is greatest thing ever made! :D
I just rewatched this in a cinema in London a couple of weeks ago. It was the first time I watched it in about four or five years, and the first time I've ever seen it in a cinema. Saw this as a kid on HBO. Really stuck with me in a good way.
That silver streak music, chef's kiss
Amazing video review of the original terror train movie cinema snob, fantastic job.
Yes yes yes, a first time watching reaction show where brad shows all these movies to his son!!
I remember my friend watching this on the phone together. She was at her house and I was at my house while we watched terror train together and talking about the scenes. We were in 5th grade. Scared the crap outta us. I didn't think anybody saw this but us.
2:46 I graduated in 1986 - I’ll definitely have to watch this movie :)
Oh man, Groucho verses everyone else. I’m in.
Yes thank you so much!!
MAGIC!
Nice to see you tackle this classic. Hope the whole family is doing great 👍
You're going to have the chance to review another great movie from 1980 after seeing it in a movie house. Yes Caligula the Ultimate Cut will be playing in theaters in North America this year and Malcolm Mcdowell is actually promoting it.
Mr. Snob may I say all of your references are original and phenomenal. No other comes close
Now THIS is how you start the year.

A great start to the new year. Terror Train is a fun slasher movie that has held up well over the years.
I can't remember if I've seen this movie but this review makes me want to give it a watch again.
9:50 That's "Vanity" there on the right
dressed as an Egyptian.😍
I WISH they went that hardcore at NIU. I lived in DeKalb for seven years, and it was one of the most sanity-draining times of my life.
I would have chosen NIU over UIUC if I remembered that about the characters! LOL
Ah yes, Terror Train
Up there in the halls of late 70’s/early 80’s Jamie Lee Curtis greats
And frankly an interesting take on Murder on the Orient Express to be honest
This movie was a victim of randomness for me. It paused on buffering on the scene at 1:20 and I thought: "Wtf, why this chick looks like a guy? Is this intentional? Are we supposed to notice? Oh damnit..." and the plot twist dawned on me.
You’ve made 100 Silver Streak references over the years, it’s high time you make a video! Although you waited so long, the entire cast is dead now!
I really like this forgotten slasher. I first stumbled across it on television when I was in college and wasn't disappointed when I watched it in full a few years later. Happy New Year, Brad!
Perfect timing!
Decided to watch this one first, since it is the first new Cinema Snob review of 2024.
I did see another review of this on another channel. Looks really well made for a Canadian slasher movie. Also got to give props to the David Copperfield stuff.
Hart Bochner also played Supergirl's love interest and one of the IU students in Breaking Away.
Watched it with my Granddaughter. She was 4 days old.
Oh David Copperfield I forgot he was a thing. I remember loving this movie when I was younger. It still gives me the chills.
Was a thing? He still is a thing.
I had a crush on him way back in the day!
Thanks for the review! Had lots of fun watching it, and now kind of want to see your take on "Trading Places" and "The Ritz" :)
I don't know if Copperfield really likes traveling by train, but apparently he enjoys the comfort of certain flights. 😂
Next you're going to tell me those kids on the Terror Train didn't really kill themselves.
I have this dvd and watched it once like 10 years ago, didn't remember a single thing about it except for JLC being in it, lol.
i want to write that my name is Josh Tate and i first watched Terror Train for the first time on December 31, 2000 and now i watch Terror Train every year on New Years Eve.
You are scary funny Brad.!!!
Country pop and King Frat are all that Snob is obsessed with these days. Other than that, I was expecting this to be covered eventually for New Year.
*Snob describes the plot as a prank gone wrong revenge slasher* "Holy shit, guys! I think MARTY'S the k-" *Snob references Slaughter High* OF COURSE!
How did my sister and I miss this one? We were big watchers of slasher films back in their heyday.
To be this good for this long. Great stuff Snob.
Ohhhh ... I'm so happy you did this one. It was defo a fave of mine when it came out!
Side note: Technically, we put Die Hard on a train with this one, since that's Ellis playing Doc.
Looks like there are enough horror movies set on trains for Brad to review one for every Thursday the 13th for quite a while.
As soon as the music started I was like is this silver steak
One of John Alcott’s downright-Kubrickian slick turd-polishes of otherwise unmemorable 80’s B-movies into cult status, along with The Beastmaster and Vice Squad.
Who cares if it’s cheap, so long as it LOOKS good.? 😎
Really thought this episode was top notch!!
Love that new intro.
Life was so simple in the 80s
Saw this upon its release with Prom Night. Snob, you need to do a review of Best Friends 1975. Always entertained by your snobbery 😊
I would love if he did the 75 Best Friends and 82 Best Friends. hehe
@@jbjacobs9514 🤣
Damn you Brad, what kind of black magic was that trick with your glasses ?! 😄
Happy New Year Brad Jones. I wish you and you Family a happy New Year
I can imagine Jack going up to you and asking "What's Terror Train?" and you show his this video. 🤣
Awesome! Starting off the workweek with a new review! And it's one he referenced in one of the commercial breaks
Thom Haverstock showed more emotion and charisma in his scene here than he did in all of Skullduggery.
Got the UK 88 Films blu ray release. Good film. Interesting to see the Horror Express trailer - Chris Lee and Peter Cushing, and Telly Savalas 😀
The Night Train Murders is also good - again I've got the early release from 88 Films.
Great Slasher.
7:30 I was hoping you'd make a Gene Shalit reference, and wasn't disappointed.
Happy New Year Brad& Laura & adorable little Jack & adorable little kittens. ♥️🐈🐈🎇🎆🥂🐲🎊🎉👶♥️
I do remember wondering why they bothered hiding his face since we knew who the killer was, but then that twist really got me.
Your reviews are great 👍
I may have to have my band cover the King Frat theme.
Cool intro song
They did a remake of this movie as well as a sequel to that remake. Wasn't all that good but I never thought the original was all that good .
Youth on drugs taking a train and voila, murders.
Amtrak really could use some more Disco Magicians. 😋 And being drunk and talking about inflation has never changed.
Always a good Combi when snob does a slasher movie review. complication of slasher movied he had done would Be nice(And when he has Time)
With John Alcott on cinematography, I like to think the terror train is going to the overlook hotel lol
It's okay, Snob. My kid woke up half way through Class of 1984 and a just told him it's High School Musical 4
Saw this round a mates house & thought it was pretty decent!
I'd recommend the Snob review Pin if he hasn't already; it's got the guy who played Locke from LOST in.
15:51 - *_To Mundo Fii-nee_*
happy new year cinema snob family and friends i got a question what is the theme song in the beginning of the reviews u use brad i love the song
Hey, I graduated from NIU, go huskies!
Canada usually is a death blow for a movie but either horror or comedy seem to be regarded as either underrated or cult classic
Not gonna lie... but this has to got to be the most impressive Cinema Snob review that I have ever seen! Quite a great way to start off 2024 if you ask me 😏😉👍
I wish you could do review of "Excalibur"
With all your talk about Jamie Lee Curtis, I'm surprised you haven't reviewed Grandview USA.
How is the updates on 1962 in Films and is there gonna be 1984 in Films video for Cinema Snob?
I think all slasher flicks should have magicians in them. Like if James Randi was still alive, we could put him in a slasher flick.
More movies these days needs a disco magician.
What's the song that plays in the intro?
Moe!!!🤣🤣🤣
