- Today i went around Merseyrail’s Wirral Line and met lots of friendly drivers who without hesitation blew some tones (I’m sure Merseyrails management will love it)
I was accompanied by @burnsyrail7616 on this day. Thanks for the company as per usual !
Great video, and one that will serve as a time capsule in years to come. Thanks for making it public.
Thank you, indeed it will. No problem 😉
I see you have 508131 (formerly 508031) on video. The unit that went through a concrete block buffer stop, a brick wall, and hit a traffic light at a road junction at Shepperton in 1982 when it was on a service from Waterloo (London).
Do you know when the next pep scrap move will be?
Yeah i do. Do you have instagram?
No unfortunately
@@bptrains was gonna send you a full timetable for scrapping dated/times/units.
Next one is next Thursday (507009+508138) to leave BKN at 0956
Are there any later than that because I probably won't be able to see that one
@@bptrains 31st. 0956 off BKN
whats so special about 777001
At the time i released this video the 777s were new to Wirral line
111 has unfortunately been confirmed to be sent to the scrapper's torch
Yeah sadly. Being dragged on the 7th. Will be withdrawn 3/4 September give or take a few days.
Now is your time to catch it.
