High Flooding magnitudes and occurrences will be increased due to climate change resulting in high water levels. KP Govt must inform property owners to stay away from rivers to avoid calamity. They should do climate change inclusive hydraulic modeling for floodplain mapping for all rivers in the province to establish 5yrs, 50 yrs and 100yrs flooding level that will guide people to dismantle existing properties within the floodplain and warn new construction.
