As a proud Richardson alumni, I am proud of these young men for representing the community in a respectful manner. They made history, and the past 3 years have been magical. Sometimes, that all it takes. Sports are just as much about luck as skill. It could have gone either way.
Cason Wallace is on another level defensively period. Guards their best player and holds him to 8 points. The big starts cooking they switch him and him. He locks him up. At the end of the game guards their best player blocks the shot to set up overtime. Tough loss
difference was Mckinney's team was more than one player that needed to be guarded
Luckiest game winning bucket you’ll ever see.. that being said, Richardson badly needed their 4th and 5th guys to make shots and it just didn’t happen.

everyone out here simpin for richardson, both teams had players not show up, McKinney just had people who were able to step up
Great game, got to see it live last night, as someone else mentioned, you only got scores from 3 players for Richardson, sometimes that is not enough, no scores from the other players or even bench points, also a little careless with the ball at times, good block at the end, but just at the right place to grab it off the block to get the lucky score at the end.
Cason n Rylan scored basically all the points and that wasn’t enough, McKinney got it done with 6 players despite JaKobe in foul trouble and He did not score one point against Cason he had 4 turnovers or blocked shots with Cason guards him but Thatcher McClure and Alex came up big all game, McKinney looked poised to win it from the start
Who’s the guy on McKinney that’s blocking everything? I like his game.

I thought mckinney had a good chance to try to repeat but they lost Walter and their point guard to transfer not to mention all the seniors they lost
The winner of this game is probably going to win the state championship. the UIL is really trying to stick it Duncanville with the Anthony black situation and CJ Ford has been hurt the majority of the year and I’m not sure if he’s coming back. despite how loaded they are if Duncanville is able to win state without those two this might be the best championship for them yet. As for the actual game as good as Richardson has been over the past couple years they’ve always been Cason Rylanand maybe one other guy scores. last year it was Gannon Parker this year it’s the big fella who transferred from Michigan. if Cason and Rylan aren’t going to combine for 60+ you need more from the others.
He’s not they don’t want him to re injure that knee but McKinney showed out today we gonna see man anything can happen but I believe alma mater even
Without AB or Cj we still formidable
They played last year most of this year without AB they should be fine. Would be great to have AB and CJ but Im hopeful they can get the win without them. They have Ron H, Aric Demings and D Sykes Cameron and Ashton they will be fine.
@@moniquekirby4356 we will see it is hard to win a state championship short handed. this might be the most talented team Duncanville has had since Peavy has been there but it looks like it might end up being the most challenging road to state. a really difficult schedule having guys in and out of the lineup throughout the season etc. I don’t anticipate them having any problems at the regional tournament although I hope they match up with garland and their big man Zuby.
@@ProfessorH12 I don’t think Ford has played since the rock Hill game as far as black I feel like the UIL it’s trying to stick it to Duncanville and you definitely worry about chemistry with him being in and out of the lineup. I wouldn’t question anything Duncanville especially Coach Peavy does though. he has obviously a track record of winning this might be the sweetest championship yet if they can pull it off.

15:56 lazy defense. Rich coach should’ve called a T.O after this possession. Richardson played terrible down the stretch. Amazing play from rylan griffen at the end and great defensive effort from Cason. Unfortunate end to the season but Richardson shot themselves in the foot with all the simple mistakes. They also had a crucial 5 second inbound violation that cost them badly
Omg I know I’m late but did Richardson not just get jerk’d/cheated because McKinney held the ball for a whole minute. No Shot Clock violation or whistle was blown lol
