Beautiful work, how many actual hours and what was cost for that work?

Utterly FASCINATING to watch the toe track process!! So many steps involved, very well done

It was really, really neat to see you add a real leather midsole and holdfast welt to an existing pair of boots. Are you able to give a ballpark price for similar work on a pair of Cowboy boots?

Wow, great work there! Although both boot lasts and toe shaping look good , it does go to show how much personal preference counts in the end. :)

Thanks! We weren't around back then, we've only been open for almost 3 months. But we take mail-in work, so you can send stuff in if you would like.

Is this the original way on how toe track is made on engineer boot? what is the purpose of this in the first place? seems it is found only in engineer boots

When I need a resole, I'm sending them to you guys

What did you use to condition the uppers? Looks like it may have erased some of the work you put into the toe track? Perhaps the conditioner loosened up the fibers from your percussive process thereby decreasing the deformation density?
I know Jeff is much happier with them now. I bet they feel really nice with the leather soles.

Yes, I actually cleaned them to try and remove or lighten up some of the indigo transfer and it seemed to make the toe track less visible after that. Jeff conditioned them with some renovateur and it came back a little but I probably should have burnished it a bit more when they were on the crimp boards

Wow great work! I've never seen a boot rebuilt like this before, Im guessing it gives similar results to a bespoke boot for a more reasonable price?

Right, we didn't show much of it but this customer sent his measurements and tracings to us and we built up a pair of lasts to his measurements, then rebuilt the boots on those lasts

    They looked barely broken in.
