The War of 1812 Overture

More than 40 years ago, I wrote a musical for the 175th anniversary of my home town. One of the numbers that I and my composing partner Ron Dossenbach created was a 'ballet' for the first act called The War of 1812 Overture.
I just dug out the faded pencil-scratchings of the original piano score (unlooked at for a long time) and decided to orchestrate it for Canada Day. As it involves our American friends, it's for July 4th, too.
