Digitalization of the Finance Industry - Challenges, Potentials, Changes

Due to the digitalization of the financial markets, financial technology has grown to be an essential part of today’s modern financial industry. New players are rapidly growing and traditional markets are facing a new challenge. This brings up several questions and the need for more information: What changes need to be made in the way we do financial business? How does this new branch affect the future of the markets? Where are the new trends for the industry?
The International Bankers Forum (IBF) Roadshow, touring six German financial centers, opened minds for “a new era of doing business” in the traditional banking system. ESMT and IBF invited the participants to join a panel discussion with FinTech companies, the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), and Bundesverband deutscher Banken.
