Berwick-upon-Tweed Railway Station (30/8/2017)

Here is a selection of video clips from my trip to Berwick-upon-Tweed, East Coast Mainline, on August 30th 2017.

Can you please explain what purpose the double set of lines on the Border Bridge serve? I have often wondered.

you mean the metal rails in the 4 foot (between the 2 running rails)

They're quite common on bridges, I think the idea is that if a train derails on the bridge the guide rails will stop it going over the edge
