    On the back of these videos I have bought one. Have hit it a couple of times on the course and range so far. Seems to work. Don't have any stats yet but managed to hit some really long (for me) drives into a strong wind of around 35-40 kph. This surprised me as I thought it might spin up too much into the wind. Look forward to getting it onto trackman to substantiate any differences. I'm 60 years old and s/s with driver is pretty much on 100mph. Driver is a 9* Mavrik Sub Z set at 8* and previous shaft was Fujikura green Pro 65gms. Oh, I bought the new shaft in the SF5 strength.

Then there was freight and paying for it to be setup, sleeved and gripped etc...It's a crazy purchase but I suppose if you work it out to each time you use it and divide that by a small dollar figure, then so long as it does what they say, you are ok to pay e.g. $2 per drive if it's 10-15 yards longer and more often on the fairway. So far, so good. :) ps...it turned up in under half a week so that was something to commend.

Not quite sure when this will happen. One thing I've noticed is the sound off the clubface seems a little different which seems odd. I have a TM sim on it. Using jumbo max lite grip with tour lock weight to get swing weight to D1. Results are fantastic. Dispersion is cut in half and I only have to make what feels like a 3/4 swing to keep my normal swing speed of 105mph. If I make a full swing then it’s closer to 110mph. The shaft seems to keep you from overcooking it left or right. The only down side is hitting precision hard cuts and draws is more difficult because of this. I am beyond happy

    I like the comments made around the 18 minute mark, where he says they may test it with a player who swings 90 to 95 mph, trying to get them up over 100 mph.
    I often felt that I was in between a Regular and a Stiff flex. I'd like to see what this shaft can do for people who can't swing like Matt in the video.

    Awesome! Just fit Matti for a chipper putter and he will just need this driver and a chipper putter for those "short" 370yd par4s and par 3s.👍👍💪💪

    I cant get enough of these Freaky Pinky segments. I really would love to see what its like if you hit this thing easy, curious if this thing solves a specific issue, that is some of the super stiff shafts, you always have to go 110%. Cant wait for round 3 and TSI.

    Ive ordered the SF505X. It arrives tomorrow Tuesday 27th. I will hit it at the range and play with it this week and let you guys know what its like for an average 10 HDC player.

    • @adamcunneen4221
      @adamcunneen4221 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s arrived in about 4 days (slight delay via China for FedEx) - beautiful 🤣. I have it now installed for my normal Mavrik - will play a round with it tomorrow . Turned out to be just a fraction under 46” at D1.5. The recommend D1~2. Let’s see tomorrow on the course 👍.. and I will take it to the simulator next week.

    • @adamcunneen4221
      @adamcunneen4221 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Probably no-one reading this by now ... but I had the autoflex SF505X in my 9* normal Mavrik head (+1 - 10*) today on course for 9 holes and had astounding results. I had struggled with it at the range, but on the course it just worked... I hit 7 drives for 6 fairways average 280 (up from normal 260) with long 300 and shorter 260. Like for TXG, even more impressive than the length increase, was the arrow straight fairway finders. I cant explain it ... it is 46” (1/2” longer than my normal S shaft) with sw D1.5.. but just like Matt, it wiggles like a fishing Rod when you wave it before the swing. Swing speed feels considerably up ... but I wont be sure until I go to the simulator later this week! Anyway, for those thinking about it I also now recommend jumping in - but check the swing speed recommendations carefully. The website English speaking contact James is great!

    Well, this shafts have already been used in LPGA for years by some South Korean players. So, I guess amateurs with moderate swing speed, like 95 miles, also can get helped.

    • @michaelpark194
      @michaelpark194 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Just bored l don't know how much improve they made in Autoflex line. But both shafts are made by the same co, Dumina. The company president said they tried thousands of times and cleaned up their specs in three, which are enough to cover all different swing. Anyway, it is very interesting to see a player with this shaft is actually on top of today's LPGA tour - Shoprite - leaderbord.

    That was totally awesome. The biggest question is @matt - will you out this shaft in the best driver competition next year? I would spend the money on the shaft only if I was fitted correctly. Too much money just to buy.

    I've never seen anyone who can hit shot after shot as consistently as "Matty Boy". And he can hit millimeters towards the toe, heal, crown and sole on demand. Outrageous. I'll never be able to do that, but where do I get the shaft?

    Just curious, who are the 5 people who didn't like this video ? If you're a golfer, do you not want more distance and want to hit it straighter ? Maybe it's the price but in my mind, you can keep buying driver after driver every 1 to 2 years at $500 to $700 a pop and hope you've found the holy grail of drivers, which you won't, or maybe just maybe get fitted for this shaft at $700 that gives you what we all want, distance and accuracy . hmmmmmm
