@@mherr15715 I think that in Bach's time this was performed on a harpsichord and in Allegretto in tempo, thus probably played a little faster... Though playing slower helps in minimizing mistakes. I seem to be sliding into my second childhood.
FWIW, I'm Chinese by ethnicity, but I was born in Brussels because my father, a Chinese diplomat, was stationed there in 1938. My father was born in Germany because his father was studying in Berlin and met the Kaiser, Wilhelm II while strolling in the Tiergarten. My grandfather, Chen Chieh, said that the Kaiser told him that he should study hard!
Maybe you know the name of this piece of music or its entry in the BWV? I've got the notes of it for many years, but no additional information. So I couldn't find any other recording for guidance. The notes contain a tempo instruction (84 bpm) and dynamic symbols. I have doubts about both. This tempo is way too fast for me (for playing AND listening). And volume instructions make no sense for harpsichord. Don't know if these things were set by Bach himself. 🤔
Wonderful. I love how there's so much depth and beauty even in his simpler pieces. What a musician he was.
Beautiful 🌻
It's BWV 928 from "12 Short Preludes For Beginners". For shure it is one of the most difficult pieces of this collection.
Thank you very much for this information! That helps me a lot!

What is this little piece called? i can't find it anywhere...
I couldn't find it either. I asked the same question in the description. Maybe someone knows it!
@@mherr15715ha, you found it. Perfect! 🎉
At 85, I take heart at seeing that these are an old pianist's hands.
I had to think about that... You're right. Thank you very much! Keep curious! ☺

Three-part? Look quite difficult.
