TORDO OR TɔDO FROM MANYA KROBO
My people from Manya Krobo call this tordo or tɔdo. It is mainly for royal processions.
The musical instruments consist of the following:
i. Odono: A a laced, double-headed hourglass-shaped drum which is hung across the shoulder with a strap.
ii. Blɛkɛtɛ: A two-sided drum with a deep sound
ii. Maaa (Bamboo/wooden clappers) - Bamboo Clappers are two pieces of bamboo half-section, which are hit against each other to create a percussive sound like clap
