Definitely on the right track with this. I've worked with the ACL and they are not about growing a sport. They're just about making the money and they're really hard on bag makers. Can't even imagine how bagmakers make any money on bags with the ACL. When you're part of the ACL they own you. If you say the wrong thing, they'll shut you down so there's nothing you can do unless you want to lose your stamp. Keep it up. The truth needs to come out

I played in my first ACO major in Medford Or. I thought it was pretty easy to pay and register for the event. The only thing I didn't get a tee shirt! But I don't know anything about the ACL issues.
I Love these podcasts also and I like how passionate you are about the sport. That being said I got a couple questions. I'm fed up with the ACl. I would like to try out the ACO however I don't have any local ACO directors or events anywhere near me that I know of. I wish someone would start a local ACO league here. I wouldn't mind doing it myself if I knew how or what to do just a complete with the ACL. Also my question mainly is are there any bags that you can use in in both ACL and ACO. I'd hate to have to go buy all brand new bags just to start in the ACO but if I have to I would. What do I have to do to start up a local ACO League
I don’t believe ACL allows cross league stamps. There are some ACO/TCL bags out there
The ACO events are on Scoreholio. If you want to start a local ACO league, you can start here - americancornhole.com/co/
Unfortunately, the ACO requires that you use one of their stamped bags. You cannot use an ACL stamped bag. There are no companies that make bags for both leagues.
They will now withhold 24% of your winnings through payment tabs. The IRS is now involved and that is why they ask all the private questions
My brother didn't register for singles at 2 opens last year because of sign up issues. When he would try to sign up the day of the tournament it would cost him more.

Ill be honest, when I saw your title, my first thought was, here he goes again complaining about the ACL, but I despise the wallet. It clunky, and takes way too damn long. They have to be making money on the way they do it because otherwise it makes no sense.
😂 I thought about that when I titled it. I changed the title a little to focus more on the wallet and not as much on the ACL.

Is the ACL ruining Cornhole? YES
Ive had that conversation about the growth of pickle ball with other players as well. I think a substantial part of it growth, and that beyond the point of cornhole is that it isnt 100% built on the unknown. Tennis, which is like its close uncle, has been around forever, so i truly believe we see its substantial growth and have that to credit. Where cornhole comes from what? Horse Shoes maybe? ACL / ACO / TCL are really still building from the ground up comparatively; in my opinion.

I think they are pushing players away. I really wish both companies would say what bags each player or team are using.
