The mighty and ancient obelisk was built many years ago for people who worshiped a forgotten god. If that god was benign or adverse is unknown, for not many mentions of him remains today.
The obelisk withholds an extrange power for the grass do not grow around and no bird fly nearby. Yet the people are still kneeling before it.

"Before I start, I must see my end.
Destination known, my mind’s journey now begins.
Upon my chariot, heart and soul’s fate revealed.
In time, all points converge, hope’s strength resteeled.
But to earn final peace at the universe’s endless refrain,
We must see all in nothingness... before we start again."

I like to get stranded in games, always pushing how far does the game let me go to find a boundary or a place far from everything.
The thing i most like is those games that ACTUALLY have this kind of music for lonely and empty places, like Minecraft does with the End or No Man's Sky with its anomaly planets track.

I’m walking through city streets that are full with people but empty. Faces pass by but no one notices me… I breathe in deeply and let the cold winter air fill my lungs, and exhale.
I arrive at my train and wait for boarding to begin. There are 12 total platforms but only 7 have trains in various stages of boarding and unboarding. People pass and hurry about but no one notices me.
I board, find a seat for one, and wait for my commute home… Only to do this again tomorrow.

Was it you, the one I saw at the platform, I saw your face drawn down like unhappy In your travels, Was it you, waiting for your train, only to travel again once more,
Maybe not, for so many faces traveled that day, you may have been invisible, but I saw you, I saw your eyes of a once and distant smile, you were not alone that day Freind, for I saw you ...........travel the next day with hope, that this day, I saw you! 😊 🫂

Be calm he said travel to the Obelisk, before the dark day, he said Co's after this we wont get another chance, help them he said, help them all, and change what was to what could be, hesitant as i was i travelled to it, once there i looked up, as far as i could as this was as tall as the tallest Mountain, silent in its vastness, yet the cold air from it sent a chill to my very breath, the ground cold, fallen rain of days ago, hold your hand to it he said, and quote the words, "take me back to the time, to save the past that was once mine", changing things wouldn't be my burden, i said to him as this future would be no more, a graceful Veil would be thrown over this place and forever changed to a New, so Goodbye to this place, what is to change, and yet me to fade, make this place a future, never of Shade!

On the planet Tsyotis, Damnation is king.
Being on the edge of it's native star's habitation zone grants Tsyotis the unique privilege of being the natural birthplace of many species in a galaxy full of artificially altered planets and terraformed worlds. But due to the planet's lack of a stronger magnetic field, a denser atmosphere, the gravitational pull of a storm of large comets coming in and out of the Aethyll system, and being a younger planet of just under two billion years old, it may as well be a death world for the amount of environmental factors that make life just habitable enough for it spring into existence, only for it's mother world to smother it while it is nascent.
In the time since it's inception around the system's star, Tsyotis has been the grave site of thousands of species of aquatic animal life by pouring volcanic flows, toxic chemicals, and ash into it's seas, hundreds of land based animal species by sudden and extremely long winters, millions of plant species by wildfires and toxic atmosphere, thousands of avian species by constant storms, and six humanoid civilizations, three native, three alien, all unsuspecting of the doom that awaited them.
Across the aeons of death, extinction, planetary self-inflicted devastation, only a very select few relics have witnessed the death of cities to degradation, predators to hunger, and prey to extreme conditions: a hardy species of algae that produces enough oxygen and CO2 consumption to make the planet livable for a few thousand years before descending back into another age of destruction, the archaic and buried ruins of civilizations attempting to leave at least one legacy that might just survive the planet's unending wrath long enough to warn another civilization of their doom by Tsyotis's many ends, and one large obelisk-like structure that was left on the planet before all other forms of life came and has somehow survived all of the ages since.
Across the obelisk's face are the scrawls of many dying peoples. The hopes of saving their children by one last prayer to their gods, the hatred of a pessimistic being who watched the death of their species, the dreams of a people to save the planet from itself, save another culture from their fate, or even to defy their world's exacting decree for their souls. They have all come and gone, their bones swept away from the rocky plains around the obelisk by sharp winds, and yet the obelisk does not care. Or perhaps it cares very much. Perhaps it endures these pathetic attempts to defy the inevitable and waits for their impending deaths. Perhaps it yearns to calm the fears of so many and tries to satisfy itself by carrying their words beyond the cyclical doom of Tysotis's arbitrary seasons. And perhaps it is simply an obelisk, standing unaware, unflinching, and unmoving against the constantly changing landscape. In the end, it is always the same: the obelisk is worshipped, hated, feared, and respected by millions, and then the floods and the storms come to sweep those millions away, leaving the obelisk alone to watch for the advent of another damned race.
In a very real way, the obelisk is the only truly damned inhabitant on Tsyotis's surface. The only object to survive the ages of despair, insanity, and fear and forever witnessing in an eternal cycle of maternal fratricide.
If Tsyotis is the kingdom of damnation, then the obelisk is the king.

I’m reading exodus when they climb the mountain and make a blood covenant with the Israelites and head up into the cloud and see God who gives them the Ten Commandments. This music makes me feel a bit uneasy about the whole ordeal to put it lightly and feel the gravity of the situation. I guess it’s kind of how any genre of music can change the tone of a scene or show a material in a different light.

    • @Topher3088
      @Topher3088 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

@@ABCDuwachui well to be honest I’m not sure what you mean by free will I’m going to guess its control over your own actions emotions and inclinations and I don’t think humans have mastered those qualities especially in modern society. Just my observation.
In theology it’s called the heart hardening doctrine. Much of what we accept and believe has very little to do with what we observe if our hearts are hardened. I’d argue that hearts being made hard can only be done if free will exists or there would be no need to change the conditions of the heart. Some Hebrew speaking Jews describe the phrase as strengthening one’s resolve. The will typically has a leaning and when exposed to truth it either hardens or accepts it depending on one’s own pre-inclinations.
Every time Pharaohs heart was hardened was right after a massive demonstration of divine power and judgement on his kingdom. Sometimes the Lord hardened his heart and in other times it suggests that pharaoh hardened his own heart and in other places it seems like his heart just hardened as a natural result to the demonstrations. I’ve personally seen someone who had a similar reaction to a religious out of body experience after saying the Lord’s Prayer. Unfortunately his heart hardened after the experience and he just attributed it to a momentary schizophrenic response that he’s never had since. I find it important to reflect on the condition of my own heart so I don’t miss when something awesome happens or I can respond appropriately in the right circumstances.
