What is the hp of the strongest gen1 zx14 you've had on your dyno? ( stock motor just bolt ons) my 2006 made 193 on a 93degree day on e85. It wasn't tuned I just added 35 to 40 points on each of the numbers in the power commander. My bike made made 188 on 87 octane on a 70 degree day on a map supplied with my Brocks gen3 exhaust with the standard length carbonfiber muffler. It has always out-ran any other 14s or bolt on busas gen1 or 2 I've ran from a roll we always would go from a 10 or 15 mph roll. I'd rather run from a dead stop but you know how that goes . My best at 4 inches over and foot shift in the 1/8 is 5.89 at 124.81 mph with me being 180 lbs.im just now getting back into it since 2010. My wife gave birth my son and wanted me to chill with the hell raising for a while plus I came down with brain cancer in 2012. I'm just telling this so you'd know my bike hasn't been abused at all since my last dyno pulls. Now I'm running an alienhead, zx10 wheels with michellan pilot power ( not the heavy factory wheels and a heavy ass shinko 003 u-soft) . It also has a zx10 stator and flywheel along with the sprint f-185 airfilter. Hopefully it will show out after I get an ecu flash and dyno tune. Anyhow I'm wondering if you can think of anything I'm missing far as bolt-ons go to get this thing to step up my performance. Oh yeah I probably need ceramic wheel bearings. Any suggestions is appreciated. Do you have any positive experience with velocity stacks or bored out throttle bodies. I'm just a 48 year old guy that needs a hobby and I want to be as competitive as I can without blowing the bank 😆. Thanks Mark .... I sure have missed riding these last several years, I've been on 2 wheels since I was 4 years old. Thanks again
Velocity stacks and throttle bodies make a large difference we can do both of them 200 Hp is the most at the moment but if we did everything 210-220hp would be likely
@@blackwidowpowersports6037 ....how much do yall get for the shorter velocity stacks as well with the throttle bodies? I saw where you made big gains with the different flywheel and stator. Is this due to it being a pound or so lighter? I don't really see a hotter spark making that much of a difference unless you are altering your spark or cam timing. I'm no expert or authority on anything just curious. Thanks Mark
People you got to respect what he is doing! How many mechanics weigh pistons and rods????????💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Beautiful looking work!
