Thanks for sharing. I own a Honda Ruckus and would have to trade it for the Honda Trail 125 if I pursued it. At this point, I'm hard pressed to give up my Ruckus, but the Trail 125 is more practical for around town travels lol. My only issue with my Ruckus and why I am considering a Trail 125 is the Ruckus tops out around 42MPH and my local roads go up to 60MPH... I chance myself a lot going through those 55MPH areas on my Ruckus lol.

Yeh, when I had the Navi it topped out around 50mph, and was sketchy even on 45mph roads. I think something that can do 55mph consistently would probably be safe enough most places.

Really need to get a carrier for my trail 125 I never seem to ride it due to the speed not being high enough for long trips

Yeh, there are some places I’d love to take mine, but I’m not sure if I want to make the super long trip required if you’re not taking highways.

Just found you and subscribed, very nice vid I recognize most of the areas because I live they're also. I have the green ct125 and the grandson has one identical because we got them at the same time almost a year ago now. He talked me into getting one so we could ride together but that's only happened a couple times lol. I've been to the two-stroke Tuesday several times and now on Wednesday Bike Night at Pints and Union in New albany. I've seen a few of the yellow bikes around the area this summer, maybe one of them was you?

I still only have around 300 miles on the bike, so I haven’t ridden it a ton yet or gone to any bike events, but it could have been me.
These bikes are super fun though, it is interesting now that you can tell the year of the bikes by the color.

I have the trail and the Cub. It does have a clutch, it's all inclusive with the gear shifter. I'm in etown, we just did a 3700 Mile trip on ours. I know people that have recently completed 10k miles one trip camp rides. So get out and explore

I will probably not be hitting 10k miles anytime soon, but I do plan to get some serious rides in.
The shifter for the bike took me a minute to get used to when I picked it up, to realize that you could hold the shifter up or down to keep the clutch engaged so you could try to match the revs to the shift if needed. Now it’s kind of second nature.

How do you go distances in this trail? Im worried ill buy one and then ill be like "i bet i could go 2000 miles" and then ill drive 3 hours to my nearest interstate and get smashed by the first semi gling 65mph texting and driving.

@JacobWillits You can’t take the Trail 125 on most interstates, as most require at least 250cc. So far the top speed that I have had mine at was 57mph, and that was with a little bit of time on flat ground. So I would feel a little iffy on roads where everyone does over 55mph at a minimum.
I think it’s fine for normal trips, to me at least the seat gets a little bit uncomfortable on longer rides, which for me is over 1 1/2 hours. I’m sure you could take the bike on a long trip, would just have to plot out safe roads to take.

Id avoid the navi all together. If i was honda id put the metropolitan the ruckus and navi in the same catagory seperate of the minimoto grom trail dax supercub.

The Navi at least has a bigger motor and higher top speed when compared to the Ruckus, and is cheaper. I think the Navi is nice as an in city commuter, I did enjoy mine for that. But it couldn’t likely keep up with the Monkey or Grom on a long ride.
Since it tops out around 50mph, you have to be careful about what roads to take it on, everyone assumes a motorcycle is fast and can do a high top speed, while the Navi is 110cc and not fast.

@@thevideozoneI bought a yellow trail 125 the other day and its a great bike. Seeing the navis in person theyre definetly bigger than I expected the factory storage is cool but also, the guage looks worse. To me after scooting around on the trail for a couple days its definetly a great bike for daily driving. Better than navi except in those key aspects like internal storage

@JacobWillits I got a trail bag that straps down to the cargo rack and that was super helpful even if it stores less than the Navi’s built in storage, but the Trail can definitely be a good daily driver. It’s fast enough for most roads (aside from highways), and it can easily make an off-road trek if needed.
I have actually went through a field before to avoid bad traffic, it was very nice.

@@thevideozone i just went today to buy a 30 dollar coleman cooler I bungee chorded to the rack for a trunk. I take an old highway to town and back that runs next to the faster highway i usually take but the older highway is actually an incredible road. Theres longhorns in the field and the trees grow over the road so its a nice relaxing ride and ive come to prefer it esspecially because i usually take the road in a car except in cars i pay 5x for gas 5x for insurance amd 5x for oil. Its nice to be able to drive and not have to worry about running out of gas. I doordash here and there and in my sedan i was always running out of gas. I spent a fortune in gas i went through 7 tanks of gas in 7 days when i was going hard at it once. So a bike like this will literally pay for itself in the gas savings. Plus every day a different older fella comes up to me to ask about it and talk about the old ones and I love that shit tbh

@JacobWillits yeh, since the Trail looks so much like the old ones, it is quite a conversation starter. They also get pretty nice mileage, I know that when I went to the gas station locally that sells ethanol free gas it seemed to run a little better and get better mpg, but not sure if the data really shows that makes much of a difference.
