- After the mixed success of Roblox's first proper in years - The Hunt - the duo come up with an idea for their next event, which is by returning to their roots. This is the chaotic story of how Roblox's "The Classic" event came to be!

To be completely honest, roblox should've included games like "Get eaten" "Make a cake" "Flood Escape" "Elemental Battlegrounds" "Flee the Facility" "A Very Hungry Pikachu: Reborn" "Stop It Slender" "Work at a Pizza Place"
most of those games are either dead, don't get updates, or the owner's quit the game.

my opinion on the classic shifted from "its meh" to "its fun and adorable" when i found the eg easter egg on the hub. rip nimblz, you god damn legend.
though i wish the entire event was like its hub, the hub is so fun.

fun fact: the devs of a dusty trip found the form for the innovation awards 2024 early and told everyone in their server if they voted for them to be nominated that they would give out a free car. keep in mind most of their paid cars have many issues (I.e. 2000 robux van with major issues even after it being out for a while)

atleast its a good game + the dev is actually a good developer who made good games in the past
@@Drag0n_k jandel is a pretty talented developer, but as how most popular things latch on they slowly devolve into a messy cashgrab and racks up thousands of players. why? to make it more suitable for the future of course. a once popular game "dodgeball" now barely reaches 50 players because it never gets any good updates

You are missing the point. In the description of the the classic says “Making modern games classic themed.”
btw you need 120 pointes in blade ball to get all 5 tokens and you get pointes from quests and said quests give you FIVE so were off to a grate start!
The thing is they put a lot of care into the lobby and stuff. The only thing wrong are the volunteers they chose and the huge lack of quality assurance in like in The Hunt First Edition
To some reading, the true classics weren’t implemented in this event because, imagine this.
Masterpieces that have been laying dormant for a long time need no reason to be renewed, for they have served their purpose and held a base for memories worth holding on to. Why keep pulling on such legacy when it has reached such a point?
So my guess is that these games were not put into the event to uphold the sanctuary of the true classic Roblox games.

Bad things: the games and the pay to win, good things: the items, the hub/lobby, the missions, some games that did well and the references, in the end the classic didn't deserve so much hate and it also wasn't that bad :/, this community wants to see everything negative (good video!🗿👍)

Roblox classic events seens too good for it goes well, I think many things will go wrong
- Very hard challenges
- 70% of games are P2W
- 60% of games are 9+ or 13+
- All items can only be worn in R15
- Many classic games won't be there like Brick Bronze, Classic obbies, ...
expecting brick bronze to be in a official event is stupid imo

And the 2 packages that are really expensive (19K) can be worn only in R15

seriously tho, the constant complaining we do is what makes roblox so hesitant to make new stuff, EVERY time they do something different the community complains, doesn't matter if its even that bad, we should stop being assholes to roblox and actually be greatful for the event, the hub had very fun minigames, and the quests aren't even that annoying, also, roblox included bee swarm simulator, which is quite a classic simulator, but people dont care, they only focus on skibidi toilet tower defence, its like the community is addicted to drama and complaining.

I love how Roblox and Builderman are two separate entities in these parody animations despite Builderman being the founding father of Roblox itself, so he's probably responsible for all this hubub.
the one thing i like over the hunt is that the lobby actually looks decent, and there are plenty of things to do in that lobby.
bro dusty trip updated early THANK GOD THEY DID, wouldnt know what to do if i couldve gotten that hard game right now, it took me 2 hours, but it could take more than 5 hours bro, you have to find TIX around every fight you do, there are sphere robots that shoot rockets, you have to ride ur car in this road thats full of holes, and you have to beay pirates, good luck if ur doign dusty trip classic event solo, its very hard.

Im going to be dead serious about the event, I despise the idea of having too many games only for 5 prizes, atleast make an unique award for every single game, if you want to make just 5 hats then make a game campaing/story like the 2018 egg hunt instead of scattering everything around.

Honestly The Classic went a Fun Event to ride, the big bad points of it was the Games choosed and the Final Boss made in ass, but besides those, It has been GENERATIONS since we didn't had some Hub-Event focused theme as well.

39999 robux for a single item after the tix vault got full was the biggest travesty of this event. The 1x1x1x1 "bossfight" was crap, and all but a few of the games didn't emnract the classic part of the classic event at all.
I had a theory where Roblox made the classic event out of spite, and this video kind of reminded me of that.

Love how some of the games idolized 'Roblox Classic' as "1x1x1 Event", as per Arsenal and Tower Defense Simulator (possibly others, I'm just not bothered to check the event.).
Toilet Tower Defense and A Dusty Trip followed that as well.

I think roblox included 2024 games to be experimental. How? Well, the creators of the game changed the game's apparance to look more classic. (People REALLY hated them. I legit kinda feel bad for Roblox.)

I'm glad I graduated a little over a week ago so I had time to get all the event items. But even with that it is still a short time frame to do anything and some of the games handled events poorly like be swarm were in order to get all the tokens you would have to have been a veteran at that game. I would say games like tower defense simulator handled their even well since you were given a strict loadout so even if you had never played you could still play the game and win the event as well as a veteran to that game could.

I see a lot of people say that classic games would work better! Well there’s a problem with Roblox, and that is… they don’t care that the game is classic sadly, they only chose games that were in the popular category, which is the games that get Roblox the most Money, and they instantly participate it in the event because, the more people play it, the more money they get! If you haven’t figured this out from the start, you just have to know one thing… Company’s don’t really give a shit about the consumer, it’s as long as the company gets money, they do stuff that no one wants, and that’s kind of what Roblox is, even if it sounds like they are listening, you just never know

Coming from the future (oooohhhh spooky) I have to say that the event was definitely better than the first Hunt nowhere near perfect or even great and the finale was a big let down, but still, an improvement!
Huge downgrade IMO. The games quests in The Classic were so mind-numbingly boring and grindy. But the lobby was awesome
People said old roblox was better yet when the classic event came out only 500 or 1k people played in the event because of how boring it was very understandable
i enjoyed the hunt(although i understand the concerns over the amount of badges) but i simply couldnt deal with the classic's formula. for example, if there was a game in the hunt i didnt like, it wouldnt matter because its just one badge anyway, but with the classic, the badges were made much harder to obtain due to the quantity per game, leading to a much more grindy formula for 90% of the games, not to mention we were given a third of the time to complete it. the hub was nice though

You only need to do like 8-10 games ( and maybe the quests ) to do get all the items. Also not sure bout you, but i did 4 in a day

Imo the hub is sick, but they should’ve done different game choices, like putting in ACTUAL classic roblox games like make a cake. Overall, it just gets a 5 from me, they definitely did put effort but it could’ve been just a tad bit better with the game picking
