Well he uses 1 model to represent 2 characters but he also uses 2 models to respresent 1 character so that makes 3 models represent 3 characters. I would say that's balanced ;)
Your Ultramarines are looking incredible, the work Know No Fear did to rehabilitate their image from 'vanilla' marines is testamemt to Abnett. I'm actually reading through the Shadow Crusade arc of the Hous Heresy at the moment, and I'm going to have to have to say it is a toss up between Argel Tal and Karn, although they are better for being together.
My favourite Space Marine character? Definitely Ahriman, I love how impactful he is on his Legion's fate and how the course of navigating the flesh-change curse twists and destroys him. Also he just looks incredible and I have four models of him - two of the Heresy model, because of course. 😘
Ancient Rylanor or the Anchorite are probably my favourite SM characters, despite not being any of the big ones. Both loyalist traitor legion dreadnoughts (the latter only by virtue of being reformed) they do an excellent job of humanizing and rationalising the traitor legions. 40k morality can be simplistic sometimes and reminders that the traitor legions didn't start out all bad adds some much needed complexity to the world. The fact that they're both still incredibly badass goes to show that you don't need to sacrifice rule of cool to get it either

Locan is definitely my favourite. I like how he is completely imperfect and despite trying to do the right thing he still fails those around him. great character design
Thanks for the chance and I’m going to say my favorite character is Torgaddon from the Luna wolfs/son of Horus mostly because he’s one of the first space marines to show a sense of humor that and he stayed loyal to the emperor till the end
My favorite space marine character is Aeonid Thiel. I love the story of how he is the reason for Sergeants to use red helmets. And how he lead other space marines using some of the weapons of his primarch!
Favorite space marine character by far is Vorx of the lords of silence warband. Dude's trying to juggle so many plates at once while appeasing 17 different conflicting parties and a semi-sapient ship, you just gotta feel for him.
My favourite space marine character is Angron as he’s a hot mess, a brutal savage, easily angered and flies off the handle at a moment’s notice. Love that his constant rage makes him unreliable but still a vital part of the war effort at the same time.
"My lord I have done enough! Please! Let me rest" Dante is the coolest space marine to me. He's slowly decaying he's lived for so long. He was trusted with the entire Imperium Nihilus. So cool to me
Favourite Space Marine: Fitting for Calth, albeit for possibly the 'wrong' reason, I'd have to go Argel Tal of the Word Bearers. So evil but in such an exciting, entertaining and badass way. From his pure relationship with The Blessed Lady, to his symbiotic possession by Raum, Argel never ceased being an absolute unit. He was so awesome that even Erebus was scared that Argel would become Khorne's chosen instead of Kharn. The dude killed freaking Custodes, so one had the right be pretty terrified of him. He's just so satisfying and extraordinary, and his Forge World Daemon model is one of my absolute favourites, it looks freaking amazing.
I don't know if it's a "correct" answer by my favourite marine gonna be my tactical squad sergeant Bob who smacked down in 5th edition 3 leman russes with his power fist. Definitely the best character
I just read Mark of Calth and loved the whole story of Kaurtal of the Gal Vorbak. The dialogue between him and the daemon, and also his desire that the Chapters not be lost to History inspired me to work more background into my WordBearers-Heroes-to-be. Then your video confirmed I need this narrative side to my games. ❤
Despite them not getting the most development in the Heresy, I've always had a soft spot for the freedom fighting Raven Guard - and seeing your double power sword captains has made me want to convert up a Sharrowkyn model... At the minute though I'm working on getting bits together for Kaedes Nex; the way his bloody hunts contrast to the dogma and doctrines of the Raven Guard is some really nice flavour. I'm thoroughly enjoying getting back into character conversions with heresy, and videos like this are such great inspiration, cheers!
Favourite space marine character currently has to be Kydomor Forrix. Having said that there is alot of fantastic characters throughout and I enjoy reading about them all.
My favourite space marine is a bit of a cheat because it spans 2 characters but since they are the same person I say it counts Lufgt Huron/Huron Blackheart. What a story and what a couple of amazing minis.
Argel Tal made this hardcore loyalist dip his toe into the HH. The anguish and betrayal the Word Bearers felt after the destruction of Monarchia set the stage and the creation of Tals Gal Vorbak as they were seduced capped it off. Tals inner battle and partnership with Raum and later, his kinship w Kharn was a unique and compelling story to me.
Favourite space marine character is easy. Uriel Ventris, 4th company captain of the Ultramarines. He was the main character of the first Black Library book I read and he cemented my love not just for marines but Ultramarines.
My favourite character - Tarim Torgaddon - always a joker until his final duel. Not in the spotlight like Garvi, but undoubtedly leading the loyalists to the same extent as the other captains on Isstvaan 3
Shrak Medusan is my favourite space marine character. How the death of his primarch unlike the rest of his comrades gave him a spark to bring the fight to the heart of chaos. Uniting salamanders ravenguard and ironhands alike to go into the eye of terror and hunt down traitor primarch white such ferocity they nearly succeeded multiple times! There a lot of BAD ASS space marines but Shrak Medusan arguably tops them all.
Absolutely brilliant video! I love how you treat each individual mini like its own special character! I'd have to say my favourite marine in the Heresy has to be Corswain, he is very ballsy as shown by him rodeo riding Curze but he also has a dry wit about him which makes his confrontation with Sevatar very amusing.
You can not make videos fast enough!! I’m hooked on this campaign and how you did it. I don’t know much about the Horus Heresy but this video series has really peeked my interest! And you are changing my opinion of the boys in blue. My favorite character is Logan Grimnar, because he sprinted in terminator armor and you can convert his model to look like Santa being pulled by two vicious Christmas wolves! Thank you! 2nd company commander Grulgor of the death guard. I only say this because he exists as the antithesis of what a space marine “should” be at the time of his mutation into a warp-beast. I remember him because he is a disgustingly brutish death guard before his turn, and he definitely gets what is coming to him. He also exists to foreshadow the fate of all traitorous death guard lost to warp mutation.
I am making a group of 5 custom chapters that combine to make the Coalition of Heresy. Their story would take place sometime after the Horus Heresy and they essentially believe that they are the only beings that are fit to rule the galaxy. I’m still working out some of the lore though.

My favourite Space Marine would 100% be Kharn (before he went cray cray :P ). He was so good and kinda tragic in seeing his own legion fall to such lows, and he had this kinda badass stoicisim about it. Also he was very smart which most people don't appriciate about World Eaters seeing them as bumbling berzerkers but they still had Astartes level intelligence and mind.

Great video my definit favorite is Shadrak Meduson just reading about this iron hand leader inspired me to so start my army years ago just a rag tag group fighting tooth and nail reminded me or the Rebels from Star Wars so much I just had to start the army

My favorite space marine character is sigismund the eternal crusader because he created the black templars, was in charge of the first wall and ordered the destruction of Pluto’s moons to make a mine field to stop the advancing heretics so in my mind sigismund is a major threat to the enemies of the imperium of mankind.
I have not liked Space Marines for long, only started with the 9th edition but immediately fell in love with the Ultramarines and the man, the myth, the legend, Guilliman. So this video only cemented my love for the best legion, great work as usual :)
I am a Loyalist through and through, but Argel Tal is my favourite heresy character. Absolute chad of a Marine and he manages to work with a Daemon instead of just becoming a chaos spawn. RIP Argel, fuck Erebus.
My fav SM char? I m gonna say Luther, although not really SM due to not having the classic improvement. The tragic story of his duel against his son wins it for me

If we are talking favorite character during the heresy it’s gotta be Sigismund! But if it’s of the greater 40k timeline I love Sarpadon from the Soul Drinkers novels. I think the idea of a rouge space marine chapter that disagrees with the imperium but isn’t aligned with Chaos is super interesting!

Skraal, the World Eaters Brother-Captain from Battle for the Abyss, iirc managing to survive alone upon the Furious Abyss for ages, until the Ultramarines turn up once again. (Also honourable mention to Mhotep, the Thousand Sons Marine from the same book)
You make HH more and more appealing by the video man, especially with all the time you invest into conversions. This coming from someone who used to think "Bah? All space marines? Boring!" lol. The legions really are a goldmine for characterization, loyalty and treachery and all that goes between. As for favorite marine character, that's a hard one for me, I'm a sucker for traitor legionaries that remained loyal to the Imperium. Definitely a tie between Ancient Rylanor (his short story is just fantastic) and Barabas Dantioch, who opened my eyes to Iron Warrior supremacy lol.
I run my own little 2nd Legion project and I'm dyxing to get my hands on Artellus Nomeun, or rather his Volkite spear... now that would be the perfect weapon for my Legion Masters Honor Guard :D

Alexi polux. I have always wanted to paint him up in the colours of the crimson fists for naritive battles following the implementation of the second founding. I already have the all first born crimson fist army for him to lead.
I couldn't paint that much blue with nothing interesting going on. Its why I love the night lords, I get to break up the armour panels with flesh and lightning. Even encouraged to paint segments differently to show battlefield selvage. Anyways I love Sevatar, what a cruel sob
The only reason I'm building an Imperial Fists army and not an Ultramarines one is that I can use the reversed scheme for the Fists on things I want to use in 40k with my Black Templars
I loved Remus and Thiel in Know No Fear, but in order to branch out but avoid blurting out 'Sigismund', I'll pick Vaer Greyloc of the Space Wolves from Battle of The Fang.

I just love Saul Tarvitz on Istvaan 3. Totally badass how a seemingly lowly ranked Marine just turns the battle into a slog for the Traitors.

I am a Loyalist through and through, but Argel Tal is my favourite heresy character. Absolute chad of a Marine and he manages to work with a Daemon instead of just becoming a chaos spawn. RIP Argel, fuck Erebus.

But if it’s of the greater 40k timeline I love Sarpadon from the Soul Drinkers novels. I think the idea of a rouge space marine chapter that disagrees with the imperium but isn’t aligned with Chaos is super interesting!

Skraal, the World Eaters Brother-Captain from Battle for the Abyss, iirc managing to survive alone upon the Furious Abyss for ages, until the Ultramarines turn up once again. (Also honourable mention to Mhotep, the Thousand Sons Marine from the same book)

You make HH more and more appealing by the video man, especially with all the time you invest into conversions. This coming from someone who used to think "Bah? All space marines? Boring!" lol. The legions really are a goldmine for characterization, loyalty and treachery and all that goes between.
As for favorite marine character, that's a hard one for me, I'm a sucker for traitor legionaries that remained loyal to the Imperium. Definitely a tie between Ancient Rylanor (his short story is just fantastic) and Barabas Dantioch, who opened my eyes to Iron Warrior supremacy lol.

My favorite space marine is probably Pedro Kantor. I think he has the humanity that every space marine should have but most don’t.
I’m fairly new to the 40K universe and so far I find Horus Lupercal to be a very interesting and tragic character.
My favourite character is Dante. The book by Guy Harley captures the poetic tragedy of his existence.
My fav character has to be Kharn. Seeing him in 30k then seeing what he becomes in 40k is tbh heartbreaking!
My favourite character has to be either Alpharius or Perturabo, both so cool in their own ways!
I run my own little 2nd Legion project and I'm dyxing to get my hands on Artellus Nomeun, or rather his Volkite spear... now that would be the perfect weapon for my Legion Masters Honor Guard :D
Awesome video! Its hard to pick a favorite with all these charakters, but i realy liked Tetrach Dolar. My favorite non space marine must be Yasu Nagasena, such a bad ass for going 1 on 1 with Lucius and surriving.

Alexi polux. I have always wanted to paint him up in the colours of the crimson fists for naritive battles following the implementation of the second founding. I already have the all first born crimson fist army for him to lead.

I couldn't paint that much blue with nothing interesting going on.
Its why I love the night lords, I get to break up the armour panels with flesh and lightning. Even encouraged to paint segments differently to show battlefield selvage.

The only reason I'm building an Imperial Fists army and not an Ultramarines one is that I can use the reversed scheme for the Fists on things I want to use in 40k with my Black Templars
