Extremely important point. During the spook I couldn't find any 9 at less than 1 bone a round, and I traveled from Texas to Alaska and stopped at many places along the way. Bought my first 40 in '20 because the ammo was everywhere at about 17 per box of 50, and i now prefer the 40.
I recently saw someone take down a Glock with levers first and trigger pull second. I have to say I’m a convert personally. Feels a little cleaner for some reason.
I own a used gen 4 Glock 22 .40 with a LWA 🐺 Alpha 9mm barrel, Glock Store .357sig barrel. I bought-set up 2 gen 4 .357sig magazines too. .357 followers.
3 guns in one. Have the 357 Sig barrel for my 23 gen 3, performs flawlessly and fun as hell. Was curious if there are any extractor issues with going 9mm in the 40’s. Heard something about it a ways back, unsure the validity. 👍🏻
I have a gen 3 Glock 22 police trade-in. I got a 9mm conversion barrel and it has worked fine. The only issue I had was when I purchased a Glock 17 slide for the Glock 22 and used the 9mm conversion barrel. Even though the Glock 22 and 17 frame are basically the same, there are some slight differences where the gun became unreliable & would actually fail to fire after awhile. I decided to send in my Glock 22 slide and get it cut for an optic and also a cerakote paint job. I just want the gun to be reliable using .40 s&w or 9mm. I went too far in my experimenting. A 9mm conversion barrel works well with the .40 Springfield XD Service Model as well. Glad we had "Freedom Week" in CA too. :)
Is the locking block that much different on the Gen 3/Gen 4 barrels from the Gen 5? I still own the Gen 3 Glock 22 and Glock 23, and found the 9mm conversion barrel to be an awesome way to go. As for only swapping out the barrel, I will say that if you want to keep the capability to shoot .40 S&W then you can use the Glock 22/23 ejector. However, if you don’t want to switch between calibers you may want to swap out ejector to get a more consistent case ejection pattern. I’ve noticed sometimes the 9mm comes out straight up and back, and not off to the 3-4 o’clock pattern.
I was going to buy the 21 to 20 gen 5 conversion (45acp to 10mm) and had $300 worth of stuff but you guys lost me with no free shipping. How about a coupon on that.
Because most .40 cal ammo that IS NOT "SLOW and WEAK" is faster than 9mm? Do you realize that 9mm +P only manages 420 ft-lbs of force per bullet, right? .40 S&W +P can manage 588 ft-lbs. 588 ft-lbs from .40 S&W +P is 40% more energy per impact as compared to 420 ft-lbs from 9mm +P. Velocity is twice as effective in creating more kinetic energy per impact as compared to mass. My 10mm self-defense ammo is 42% higher than .40 S&W +P and 82% higher than 9mm +P. 10mm 135gr @ 1650FPS vs (767 ft-lbs) .40 S&W 135gr @ 1400FPS vs (588 ft-lbs) 9mm +P 124gr @ 1225FPS (413 ft-lbs)
Glock reliability with extra adaptability is a win!
Thank you Lenny! Been waiting for this.
I hope y’all eventually make the G30 Gen5 10mm conversion barrel
And if SHTF .40 has been more available than 9mm. Especially during the thing we're not allowed to talk about.

@@justinvillanueva4624 I spent 90 dollars on my very first 2 boxes of 9mm. I had just gotten into firearms. Wish I knew better.
I've been waiting since before covid for these! Had one for my gen 3 and didn't know they would be so delayed.
BCA 9 mm conversion barrels are $70 & work great. If you are prepper it’s nice to have 2 calibers for one gun. 👍👍
not yet in gen 5. Here's hoping, thx
Lenny is great always knows what he is talking about. Going to get 2 conversion barrels one for my Glock 22 Gen 4 and my Glock 23 Gen 5.
From. 40 to semi bull barrel 9mm
Bout time they finally come out for the Gen 5

Imma get a conversion barrel just in case things hit the fan thank you

Lenny is the coolest dad I know without a dad bod!
😂😂😂
Are there any conversion barrels for 357 sig for a Gen 5 Glock 22 and 23?
Are those barrels still double diamond barrels?
What I would like to see more available are optics ready gen 3 slides for the 23.
Why would ANYONE convert from a more powerful cartridge to a lesser cartridge?
The extractor should also be changed.
He says you don’t. You can if you want. Cheap part. But don’t have to. He explained it on of of his videos.

That's why you tilt it sideways and fire "Gangsta" style.😅
Cool
will the 9mm barrel conv work on all G23 gens?
Aslamualykum sir hope u doing well
I have a question that why Glock 17 iner frame num and slide numbers are not the same(US made)
Is it normal
Glock 40 gen 4 10mm to 40 barrel?
Anybody know if the thicker slide causes problems with shooting 9mm ?
Finally!

How the fuck would a 40 cal have more velocity then a 9mm round?. lenny wtf

Do you realize that 9mm +P only manages 420 ft-lbs of force per bullet, right?
.40 S&W +P can manage 588 ft-lbs.

10mm 135gr @ 1650FPS vs (767 ft-lbs)
.40 S&W 135gr @ 1400FPS vs (588 ft-lbs)
9mm +P 124gr @ 1225FPS (413 ft-lbs)
