@@kimperez4036 Right? Mia has a big gap in knowledge about quality when it comes to: material, construction, pattern and notions. Without having a sense of what high and low quality means in a garment, she struggles to clench accuracy in her evaluations. For example, both the first and third dresses were chainmail, and the replica cheapy sequin materials read only “costume”. Absolutely not acceptable wearable gowns. The ruffles: first off, aren’t ruffles. Period. How could it have crossed her mind to say “quality ruffles but they keep falling off”. Quality? They’re scraps of fabric hastily tacked on.
She aligns “not falling apart” (well…in this video the black hankies WERE falling off soo…) with quality. That’s not what quality is. A garment holding together is the MINIMUM acceptable standard for a piece of clothing! “Quality” entails MUCH more in regards to materials, pattern, construction, style, and notions!
Mia is way too nice with these reviews, I feel! If I paid over $50 for any of those, I honestly would be super disappointed. The quality on all of them just looked bad, nowhere near the quality she received on the Ari poofy dress remake!

The Kim Met Versace dress is actually not made of sequins, is made in a very particular metal "fabric" (like, it's made of real metal) that Gianni invented himself and only Versace know how to produce it! I don't know how to explain it, but it's made of very light almost beads sawn together (?) You should se the close up pictures to get what I'm trying to say ahahah A lot of their most iconic dresses are made with that "fabric". Like the comment to show Mia!!

Oroton, is the name of unique metal mesh 'fabric' created by Gianni Versace
Versace did not invent the fabric nor is he the only one to produce it. The fabric was used long before by an Australian brand 'Glowmesh' it was used mainly for bags and accessories, Glowmesh was founded in 1958 and the Versace Oroton dress was designed in 1981 he may have been the first to use it for clothing but it was around before hand it's actually a technique centuries old...
@@Raniv85 actually i think that the oroton Gianni made was a lot lighter than the one used by Glomesh... Obviously it wasn't new because metal mesh oroton was used by knights centuries before, but Gianni was the first to make it this light, wich is very light if you look at the pictures. But i don't know very well Glomesh so i can only speak for Versace. By logic i would say that bags should have a heavier oroton though, even though they are really small and don't need to carry a lot of stuff (just by the look of it) but yeah, I didn't phrase the comment in the best way ahah English is not my first language

You guys do realise mia gets expenses paid for as she's self employed. Everything she buys for her videos is covered.

@@Stanushka it's not expenses paid. It's a write off for a business expense which is much different. Her tax rate is just adjusted as a result. Mia still paid for the dresses, it's not "covered" she doesn't get the money directly back.
@@j-bq5nc that was my understanding of it as that’s how it is here, but being from Scotland and not the US I was willing to be corrected. It’s also why I jested about the Teuta Matoshi gowns - I really do hope Mia makes enough on the video to cover her expenses! I must admit to cringing at the money Mia spends on (in my opinion) tasteless kardashian / Jenner clothes - like the bikinis that literally don’t cover your booty. Mia clearly knows it’s rubbish quality and she knows she will never wear it ever again and yet she pays $$$$$ so that we don’t have to. It’s sad as it’s crazy money.

Idk if anyone has said this yet, but I think the biggest issue with the replica dresses is that they aren’t cut on the bias! This makes them fall sort of flat instead of a nice cowl vibe

I fell in love with a "Kylie valentines dress" years ago and bought the fashion nova version and it seriously is my favorite dress. It's floral with long sleeves and a corset, i feel like it'd look beautiful on Mia ♥️

I’d like to see Mia recreate the signature Kim, Kourt, Kylie curves with butt and hip padding and like a super padded push up bra and then try on curve flattering clothes. Not that there is ANYTHING wrong with Mia’s body, she’s perf BUT it would just be an interesting and kind of funny lol

I think if you went down a size in every dress, kendalls even 2 sizes, these would look a lot more alike. The dresses should be very form fitting, I think it may have been a size error 😢
