Really good ideas on stocking the pantry and growing food. I love my cereal also, but causes my blood sugar to spike, like to the moon. Hopefully the PVC’s are nothing (be there done that). The coolest thing now is, depending on the surgeon, is they can repair, replace mitral valves without opening the chest! My friend had it done and recovery time was quick. Medicine never stands still. 😊
@@sandyrichmond2570 so far I’m okay on cheerios if I watch carbs the rest of the day. I’m hoping for a repair (if needed) that doesn’t require chest opening. It’s good to see medical advances!
Think the best rule to all of gardening and pantry is grow and stock what you love to eat!!!! It's alot of time and money to invest into something that ends up making you miserable.
Good morning Kym...you are so organized and I tend to fly by the seat of my pants when it comes to organization. But, I was very organized during my catering days. Good info...I too follow Melissa K. Oh my on your health issues....I will most definitely keep you in my prayers...please take care
Thank you Pam! Melissa is sure a wealth of knowledge and I hope to follow her number of tomato plants this year lol. Thank you for your prayers too. I appreciate it
Praying for your upcoming appts! 🙏. This video was very helpful! Appreciate the info. My pantry has Alot of items that are now expired from when I stocked up last year or two ago. I will use what I feel is ok to use but will also probably have to discard some which makes me angry with myself! I have to figure out a way to better determine what we can eat in a more timely way. I hate to waste !!!
@@linneabee3022 thank you for your prayers Linnea. I also have some outdated items in the pantry. So far the store canned goods I’ve been able to use no problem. But I did have to pitch some peanut butter and dry mixes😢. So I think it’s difficult to be perfect but at least we are prepared!
Hi Kym, all good information if you're starting from scratch with a pantry it's really useful to have some pointers. Sorry your having issues with irregular heartbeat I hope it can be resolved without too much difficulty I will pray for you 🙏🙏 I might be stating the obvious here so I hope you'll forgive me but it might be worth checking through your Meds as I had a similar situation and it was a side effect of some medication. Love and blessings for the New Year my friend, love to Frankie and the girls too 🐱🐔💕
@@jaynelymer6442 great idea Jayne! The only medication I’m on is a prescription anti inflammatory I’ve been on for 15 years, Trulicity which started after the issue, and vitamins so it isn’t that. Good thought though!
I am doing the challenge, but am a little behind the ball...I haven't been to the grocery store for over 3 weeks. My daughter did bring me a ham for beans and a loaf of bread, so I should be good. Will be praying for you.
Good morning Kym, I try to keep a months of food on hand and I rotate it regularly I understand well about not having energy to get things done I have been struggling as well to keep motivated getting up in the morning can be hard at times just keeping busy I pace myself :-) Happy New Year :-)
There is a manyal, "The lds preparedness manual " which has an extensive plan of preparedness.
And you can download it for free

I'm learning to focus my pantry on what we always eat that is healthy and is single ingredient. Seem not to have a problem rotating this way.
