- The Nelson Band, Gunner and Mathew stopped by the store and they’ve been very close friends with Norm for over 30 years. They're doing a song by Gary Burr "A Thousand Wild Horses" Check out the harmony blend and their musicianship. They’re using 2 killer vintage Gibson J-200s, one is a 1957 Gibson Blonde and the other is Phil Everly’s Original 1959 J-200 that he used on the Ed Sullivan Show, The Dick Clark Show, and so many others. This is probably Norm’s finest piece of musical memorabilia!

Love the Nelson Twins stories with Norm..Lots of history there..
Brotherly harmonies are always so sweet!
I’m sure Rick’s proud of these Talented Kids! Well done Nelson!
What a great song! You guys are awesome!
I loved their hair metal stuff back in 1990. And their country stuff is pretty damn good.
I still dig Nelson at 51 years old! Always streaming their stuff on TH-cam music. New music today just can't compare!
A great brother group just like there Dad
Awesome
I have an aunt who named her son after their father.
That was great Norm! I used to watch The Nelsons. Ricky was so smooth and good looking that it seemed hypnotic
that's a great song done beautifully; great job to the Nelson Bros, and thanks again to Norm!
Gorgeous dual voices! 🎶 🎶 🎤🎸🎸👍
Do you think that talent isn't inherited? Take a listen to this exquisite performance. At 63 years old, I am smack in the middle of the Nelson family story, and this interview really hit me in the heartstrings.
They have such great harmony they inherited town from their dad They have something in common with Julian Lennon
Love these guys. The acoustic sound suits them. Love the vibe. Norm. Always the best !!~
Right on man I love these guys love Rickys music I was born in 69 baby
Memories flooded in as soon as they started talking. Beautiful gift Norm, from a beautiful man.
Holy sh*t! The actual guitar that Phil Everly smashed?! Wow that is a serious piece of history. To top it off we get an awesome performance. This has got to be in the top 5 Norm’s videos I’ve seen
This was awesome I'm 56 so I definitely listened to you guys so talented and your dad what an inspiration to me as a musician. Beautiful people great video thanks Norman. Still miss you Rick Nelson.
This song is the story of my life. Love this song.

Awesome Song and Stories...you should get "Edibles at Night" to reform and Tour with you Guys...ask Lemmo...
Good seein' you guys, fine job lads. Back then it was "Doug Westin's Troubadour" I believe, wasn't it?
Might want to smug that double pick guard guitar 😀
Gary Burr from Meriden , Ct. the town next to me . Can't believe I caught the reference . Rock on boy's !
Saw these guys back in 91 at Hampton Beach Casino in N.H. I was given a free ticket and ride, so I went. I was heavy into the grunge scene at the time, and let me just say, then put on a hell of a show! I was definitely impressed!
Wow, I had no idea that whole bunch was tied together.. (I did know that Ozzie & Harriet were Ricky's parents, but I didn't actually watch the show much, since I was still like 7 or 8 yrs. old at the time).🤣 Man, those guys sure have the sibling harmonies going on!! Great song!😍🎵🎶👍👍
Don't 4 Get Ricky's Daughter, Actress Tracy.
Great music. Lot of Kentucky history there as well. My friend Albert knows a lot of stories from his time with the brothers.
Saw them several times and always a fantastic performance and honour to their father.
Great song fellas! I’m sure their dad is looking down smiling and singing along. Thanks for the post Norm
Thanks.
So much for promoting live music in a time when live music seems to be struggling. On the local level at least.
