Last night I watched this with sentimentality but now this morning the lyrics are hitting like: Damn ice dance judging and politics “my hands are tied, my body bruised she got me with, nothing to win and nothing left to lose” I wish they got more flowers but I hope they enjoyed the ride. JL always looks happy to be skating…

I’m so sad that you didn’t get the chance to show them off in front of an audience, but they’re all the more poignant in these outdoor settings, especially when filmed so beautifully. In conclusion, I’m not crying! I’m totally fine! (that’s a lie 😭)
Spectacular. No audience and one of the Best teams in the world enjoy their skating. I regret I was not there. The scene when they skate away embraced is for me remarkable.
So gorgeous. I loved seeing his broad smile throughout, and that place where she “threw him”, rather than vice versa. What a great program, to a great song!
This is another routine from them, which leaves me breathless! His jump at “ twist of fate” lyric is perfectly timed, as is every other move, the twizzles are extraordinary, but the camera work is beyond cinematography genius. I’ve been on the ice with these two during a practice ( Tacoma, WA), and the speed, coupled with the superior deep knees, precise edges, and seamless transitions from one move to next makes Hawawek and Baker two of the best ice dancers of all time. They will be back.
Firstly, the speeds are different than when Torvil and Dean skated to Bolero, much faster, today, but Hawawek and Baker still have the ability to be in perfect unison like T and D, still displaying the deep edges, utilizing perfect knee bends, transitions, yet moving much faster. They are similar, but have their own unique style. Can’t wait to see them at Skate America 2024. 🤞
Their skating is so emotional and free, and I will miss them. I always looked forward to their programs for every competition. Oh, and this filmmaking is superb! The fade at the end...it wrecks me.

It’s so mesmerizing! The camera person filming this is incredible… I don’t skate but wow I can feel the breeze and spirit of the skating. Bravo to the pair that did an amazing job making me feel happy… it’s like therapeutic! Thank you for making these videos. It definitely made my day different.

The program gives off "happily married couple of 20 years" while a lot of pairs programs give off "dating for 4 months" vibes.I say that with utmost praise! I don't know how to explain it, but there is a sense of mutual compromise and playfulness so both partners make sure they are both having a good time. Well performed and amazing choreo!
Wow that is a very difficult ask to skate to U2 and Bono's raw and powerful vocals! Well choreographed and beautifully skated!! It looks like they are ready for Nationals!!!!!

Shaking my head in utter amazement while watching this. First of all I love this song. Seeing it brought to life like this is amazing. I love that the female often seems to be the lead. The setting is magical, almost looks like it was shot at dawn. Love this
They look so strong. Wonderful twizzles - that third one of the sequence was extra cool. And a lot of stand alone twizzles throughout the program. Great edges.
Their skating is certainly beautiful BUT the greater talent here is the videographer, skating close but never in their way, capturing a viewpoint that there's no other way for us to enjoy. I score the videographer a solid 10 out of 10!!!
Oh My! Wow, That Was Perfect! Im not a judge but if I was that was a 10! Steps, always the first to look at were timed perfectly, Interaction is Just Lovely, Music.. Goes without saying. The 2 of you together are what pairs Skating should be...Just Beautiful.
What's the name of the jump around 2:16 ? I'd like to learn those half rotation dance jumps, but most tutorials only talk about one half-ration jump -- Waltz jump
